Also we usually put all random household things in our pantries like paper towels, small tool kits, extra drinks, small appliances! But you do have an amazing large pantry lol so I see how it’s hard!

Your date night at the cinema reminded me of our first trip to Florida many years ago - we went to see Ghost (yes that long ago) and found the whole US cinema experience great. There were only about 10 people in the theatre and huge reclining chairs so it was like watching TV 🙂
Would love to see more of Texas even if it’s just out and about on a walk! I like the escapism of pretending I’m living elsewhere 😂 just feel like we haven’t seen much of that recently!
We have an enomorous pantry also and we keep our big air fryer, blender, toaster, vacuum sealer, extra paper towels, ziploc bags, foil, wax paper, etc in there too. Ours looked pretty bare too when we first moved in a year ago, but over time you'll be surprised how much you'll accumulate in there.

Colouring books, favorite, stuffy/a new stuffy, iPads or educational videos -my kids really liked Little Einsteins. Break the trip up with lunch/ dinner stops and sites to see along the way. Have so much fun building memories.

Americans are known for overstocking there food ( in case of an apocalypse) 😂 that’s why there pantry’s are always full to the brim I would by some nice wicker baskets and pop them up on the shelves that are empty to fill the space. They can be used when ever you need them that way. And also make the space feel more full and put together
I'm living in Greece and we dry all our clothes outside, we don't have a dryer 😅 is there a reason you can't dry outside in Houston or is just preference? 😊

Why do Americans not dry their washing out side? You can only put about 50% of washing in a dryer or it will shrink. Always check the care label.
