Circus X was a phenomenal show. I really didn't have one bad thing to day about it as the song was that refined. So far it's the only Melodifest song I'll be listening this year.
I love Johanna (Dotter) quite a bit. She is a brilliant performer with a very unique vocal timbre. BUt dammit to hell, if a performer has bad vocal performance on competition night, that's just too damn bad.. It has been happening for as long as there have been vocal competitions. See Kaarija last year... A major reason he didnt do as well in the juries is because his finals vocals were notably less impressive than the UMK ones. That's life. I'm really pissed that Dotter got into the final ONLY BECAUSE OF PITY VOTING (to make up for the near misses from a few years ago). To think that Scarlet might miss the final after their flawless performance due to that pity voting makes my blood boil.

Really unknown, but advanced. • Lasse Stefanz is one of (if not THE) most succesful dansband in Sweden, and got frickin’ last haha. Not to mention maybe the most obvious… Cornelia Jakobs were like reeeeeeeally unknown in 2022. And won it all.

Being showbiz for 57 years, touring and still going strong is quite impressive, and there is no surprise at all they got the 12 p from the phone voters (but I was really surprise they didn't get 12 p from the 75+ voters, who instead chose Albin Tingwall.) It's not a genre that I like, but I do like that Melodifestivalen tries to pay some homage to these older artists, and have them compete, even if they're not in it to win it, just to represent their genre. That just create a cozy, familiar feeling.

I saw Danny when I was a teenager and ever since he was in my playlists. His songs are great and my sister and I have so many favorites with "Delirious" being our holy grail. I was rooting for him so much that I was planning to go to great lengths to get that 12 points from Armenia for him if he wins melfest. HOWEVER, THIS is irredeemable. I'm having a nervous breakdown. This is just a terrible song, ZERO STAGING and tracksuit as a costume. Is this all we deserve after rooting for him for YEARS?

When I hear Dotters song I keep thinking about how others songs about writing a song has done in Eurovision and the first one I think of is UKs entry last year that came 2nd to last even it if was a popular and alsp Norway from 2018 when Alexander Ryback came 15th. Is that the placements Sweden is looking to get this year if we send Dotter? Im Swedish btw and not a big fan of this song, Scarlet with Circus X atleast have a WOW factor to it and not just singing and dancing, they had a show. Atleast Scarlet got to 2nd chance and can still make the final.
Alexander Rybak's song was silly, which Dotter's isn't, it's captivating and emotional, and Mae Muller's vocals were terrible, which Dotter's isn't (even when she's sick, like last night) so I don't think it makes much sense to comparing "It's not Easy to Write a Love Song" to those two.
I think this is the best song that Danny has competed in Mello with. I've never cared for his previous ones at all, but this was fun and catchy. Dotter's song was super boring though and I don't understand why she won. Scarlet should've taken her place.
This was a really good heat! Danny deserved to go through (but he needs dancers!). Scarlet deserved to be a direct qualifier! Albin was decent and Lia deserved to go through as well! Dotter was overrated!
the big debate: Was the arch supposed to fall down? I like to think it was, because it then results in him being backlit by a completely open clear glorious sky, symbolizing the happiness, after passing thru the doorway.
Scarlet is objectively bad, not in the way that its poorly produced, nor that the vocalists are poor vocalists, but in the way that its literally a kids spooky synth rock techno song. Its extremely basic (look up any horror youtube song, its all the same) Its not new or unique its just a bad genre, it has existed for ages, youve just never heard of it, because its bad. annoys me even more that its classified as metal/rock, its neither.

I'm a pop fan and usually not so in to metal/rock but this is absolutely a masterpiece . Danny or Dotter doesn't have the right songs this year either . This is unusual, unique an damn good . And it seems that Europe likes it . Let's not make the same mistake as with Loreen and statements. We can send a dark different song too not only popsongs😜 M&M are left and Jay seems interesting. We won't win anyway and we don't have to pass any semi qualification either😅🤷. Their are a few good songs this year in Melodifestivalen , along with this one Liamoo is a favourite but I'm kind of hoping that we will try something new this year. When I hear Dotters song I keep thinking about how others songs about writing a song has done in Eurovision and the first one I think of is UKs entry last year that came 2nd to last even it if was a popular and alsp Norway from 2018 when Alexander Ryback came 15th. Is that the placements Sweden is looking to get this year if we send Dotter? Im Swedish btw and not a big fan of this song, Scarlet with Circus X atleast have a WOW factor to it and not just singing and dancing, they had a show. Atleast Scarlet got to 2nd chance and can still make the final.
Alexander Rybak's song was silly, which Dotter's isn't, it's captivating and emotional, and Mae Muller's vocals were terrible, which Dotter's isn't (even when she's sick, like last night) so I don't think it makes much sense to comparing "It's not Easy to Write a Love Song" to those two.

I think this is the best song that Danny has competed in Mello with. I've never cared for his previous ones at all, but this was fun and catchy. Dotter's song was super boring though and I don't understand why she won. Scarlet should've taken her place.

This was a really good heat! Danny deserved to go through (but he needs dancers!). Scarlet deserved to be a direct qualifier! Albin was decent and Lia deserved to go through as well! Dotter was overrated!

This year melodifestivalen definitely doesn't have the same standard as usual. So many bad songs this year. They obviously don't wanna win again.
Scarlet is objectively bad, not in the way that its poorly produced, nor that the vocalists are poor vocalists, but in the way that its literally a kids spooky synth rock techno song. Its extremely basic (look up any horror youtube song, its all the same) Its not new or unique its just a bad genre, it has existed for ages, youve just never heard of it, because its bad.

I'm a pop fan and usually not so in to metal/rock but this is absolutely a masterpiece . Danny or Dotter doesn't have the right songs this year either . This is unusual, unique an damn good . And it seems that Europe likes it . Let's not make the same mistake as with Loreen and statements. We can send a dark different song too not only popsongs😜 M&M are left and Jay seems interesting. Otherwise if they have not got a masterpiece to come up with the winner will be Liamoo or hopefully this one 🤩🎉🎉🎉🎉🙌
@@melina7202 this is not unique, this is just weird and it doesnt make sense, pls dont call this metal because its everything but metal, metal is so much more than this, this is some weird electronic song which doesnt have a good message or any depth in the lyrics, if u want cool drops and beats that are 100 times better go listen to dubstep, trance or hyperpop or something, this is just some frankenstein of different genres that just doesnt mix well and people just seem to like it because its different
@@h3zh133 well weird is also kind of unique an abviously this song effects people. This is different and unusual in a lot of ways and something that Sweden has not tried yet. It is always the safe pop songs that wins...Would be fun to see how this would be approved, as is seems by a lot of the comments people like this so why not try it a year when it doesn' t matter what song we send. We won't win anyway and we don't have to pass any semi qualification either😅🤷. Their are a few good songs this year in Melodifestivalen , along with this one Liamoo is a favourite but I'm kind of hoping that we will try something new this year. Even if we have a couple of good nice pop songs to choose from 😅 Let's see what happens 🙂
@@melina7202 Yeah because Liamoo is so unique… Danny and Cazzi Opeia are the best yet, might be simple pop songs but to me they stand out enough and are hella catchy and have colorful performances, people are so edgy nowadays and just think everything is so basic, I mean ok it might sound like something you’ve heard before a bit but they are GOOD, songs that are really basic to me are Dotter and kinds like Liamoo and the one who tried to be the weeknd that went out this last, Kim or whatever his name was… Danny was amazing
@@h3zh133 Liamoo is not unique , have not said so either but his song among all other popsongs is the best one yet anyways. But M&M are still left so that might change . Cazzis song sounds like all her other songs nothing wow about it . I love Danny and had high hopes for him this year . But he has not got another amazing in his hands and therefore he will not take the crown this year either . Don't get me wrong their aren't anything wrong with popsongs but to send one every year is kind of boring . And this year we have got the chance to try something new. The chance that we would win this year too is about 0 so why not try something else for once ? 🤷
I was so disappointed with Danny and Dotter! What happened? Danny seemed to not care at all. The song is ok but the staging was very very bad! Embarrassingly bad! And Dotter trying so hard copying Loreen! Ridiculous having that piano on stage just to crawl around on it...
