Exactly. Once you understand, and can place those words in context, once can understand it for what it is: A love of mankind, and the relevance of understanding the choice is between human flourishing and happiness, or evil, manipulation and needless death supported in the mistaken name of the virtue of sacrifice - human sacrifice.
I learned of all of this evil back in 2013. I took the red pill, and Mike was one of the experts that taught this and more, back. Today is March 2020 for me. But back then, I used to go to a supermarket and see (with my eyes) shelves that are empty of food and essentials, people fighting for them, and looting, and I used to cry. Walking in Walmart, isle after isle, and look at the people, not the food, and think "Is this what is going to happen to these poor people? They will be destroyed even more that they were in 2008." Mike and others taught me and showed the future and the taught what I need to do to try to protect my family. Still, we see this horror today. Still more of what we know of slavery, killing, and destruction, are going to take place. What else could a man do but shed tears, coming out forcefully no matter how hard he tries to collect oneself.
@@theodoresmith7452 Back then names like Mike Maloney, Jim Rogers, Selenty, Max Keiser, Dr. Doom&Gloom Marc Faber, Rick Rule, Jim Rickards, Robert Kiyosaki, Harry Dent Jr, Peter Schiff (love him or hate him), Doug Casey, Gerald Celente, so on and so on. Hi all, judging by the comments...time to revisit an important statement: The first words of the first episode of Hidden Secrets Of Money: 'Your true wealth is your time and freedom. Money is just a tool for trading your time. It's a container to store your economic energy until you are ready to deploy it. But the whole world has been turned away from real money, and has been fooled into using currency - a deceitful imposter that is silently stealing your two most valuable assets - your time, and your freedom.' Silver & Gold - Hidden Secrets Of Money Ep 1 - Currency vs Money - Mike Maloney
Think about this, money is just a tool. Do you love your hammer? no more than any other tool right? Ayn rand's problem was that her own ideals cannibalized themselves. For instance, " wealth represents man's ability to think" is complete B.S....... excuse my French. If this is really the case why is it we find so many rich morons? Why are there philosophers and geniuses today who are hermits or live modestly and don't own much? There's human capital, just as there is material capital. There is also ecological capital. Instead of a monetary system we need an economical merit system, one which rewards ONLY those who contribute to the betterment of the economy and/or environment. If you work at Applebee's, nothing will change. Only difference is that instead of your children inheriting a billion dollars after you pass they will only get 10% anything under 100 million will get 20% anything under a million 80% and anything under 100k 100% anything barely over 100k deducted to until 100k. No capital gains, no offshore tax havens. NO CORPORATE WELFARE. That way society ensures that only its productive members will be rewarded and there is no incentive to keep people poor
+Richard Dimpske yes, Stalin. In your utopia I'd have to be shot for pointing this out, but wealth is positively correlated with IQ. An average moron is far more likely to be poor, than rich.
Mike, I've never seen someone so emotional over the concept of money and its applications. That in itself is a travesty (that so few care or understand). Money allows our productivity to flow. It has lead to massive prosperity but in these days is demonized. It's crushing. Thanks for reading this to us. It's a welcome and refreshing reminder that some people still understand its importance.
I Love you Mike , you would be a good friend but everyone hates me because I Love Jesus , the REAL. Wish I could meet you but whats the chance of that. One day I believe I will anyway on the other side for when I see myself I see you . I have positioned myself in Christ by God and am made safe. ☺
Sir. I come from a different part of the earth. But this was a revelation. They taught me in movies and we were upper middle class in my country- that wealth was created by cheating others. It wasnt true. My father was quite distressed when people misbehaved with him almost 20 years ago just because he had bought a car after years of effort. Thank you. Will always remember this
Divine Eternal Maze Hello Divine, I strongly suggest you watch our series 'Hidden Secrets Of Money' to help understand this. A personal wealth limit would actually increase banker puppeteering as they sought ways to overcome it, and it would also have the side effect of bringing all progress in all fields on earth to a drastic halt. What would be the incentive for folks to excel? Good luck with the series, enjoy.
Divine Eternal Maze Money is a real value, and it doesn't make anyone do anything. Its dishonest pursuit is meant to be illegal in a free market. Its honest pursuit is a pursuit of virtue, and as such not only helps one to find purpose in life but is itself a large part of that purpose: production. There is no limit to the spiritual rewards of productivity, and to use violence to impose a limit on its material rewards would be arbitrary and not at all justified.
If I had listened to this speech a few months ago, I would have dismissed it, completely. I wouldn't have seen the strong reasoning behind it. I wouldn't have understood the man's emotion while reading it. I'm so glad it came to my life in this moment.
he truly read that from the heart., you could here it in his voice. WHERE have all the men gone in this country. im a 52 year old vet typing this with tears on my face knowing my country I fought for is gone.
Hi Rich - the great news is that a fire has been lit under the butts of the youth in this country. There are Liberty movements with hundreds of thousands of young members. Stand tall.
@dent...... Sadly evil, criminal, scum, financial elite have control of the world with FIAT Currencies & Fractional Reserve Banking. We need to take back, what You & so many others fought for 💯
Atlas Shrugged was the book that opened my mind to the philosophy of liberty. I'm glad that Mike Maloney and his team at GoldSilver.com created this video.
ChiefClickClack. I agree but how much better if he were Christian. The real Church are the unknowns who are well known by God for being kind and not condemning are their words toward those who need Salvation but those who were left to give the instructions to the Bible are the same ones who had him crucified, the known Churches, for it said: He being God lent the house out to those which were the keepers of the house and after a long while came back and he called them to himself to give an account. Those in these last hours buried the good word of the book and would not enter themselves but oh how they Loved the praises of man and thats their reward and they would not allow any to enter into the house least they themselves be corrected, Jesus knew thats why even when the theif was on the cross he only had to ask Jesus to please remember him when he went back to the Father and Jesus said : this very hour you will be with me in Paradise, now tell me was he baptized with water being a theif? I think not though we are commanded to be baptized . God bless you my neighbor. PEACE.
Just seeing this for the first time and am sharing it far and wide. Never thought that Mike Maloney could make me cry ....and yet here i am with my hankie!! Thanks for this Mike....beautifully done!!
Thanks for linking this again Mike. I'm not a huge Ayn Rand fan, but these words are among the best ever set to paper in the English language. Folks who understand what she was saying here will take measures to ensure they secure their food and water supply while not freezing to death in the winter.
Thanks for sharing, Mike. This was extremely eye-opening. It caused me to look at my paycheck harder, and realize that 17.5% was taken out before it hit my wallet.
Magnificent on so many levels! Mike you have transformed my way of thinking on how and why money is created and traded. I am dyslexic too and you are a true inspiration. Ashley (UK)
Thank you Mike. I'm 68. I have supported myself since I was 17. In my early 20's when I was searching for direction I stumbled upon Ayn Rand. I read The Fountainhead and was so inspired by Rand's idea of Objectivism that I read ALL of her books. I credit Rand with putting me on a successful path of life. Her books out to be required reading for all young men and women. Thanks for reading that passage from Atlas Shrugged. I just posted it to my face book page.
Mike you are a great educated person telling people all this information on history of no good government how it can happen here in America, and it will one day to get prepare for it when that day of reckoning comes to these shores.
The education is priceless, that's why I pass it on to everyone that I can those of us that have found the source of this education are commissioned to tell the masses - Thanks Mike.
The reference is basically biblical and it is not said in Christianity that "money" is the root of all evil, but the "Love" of money. You are right as is Rand that to love something is to understand its nature, and in the Biblical reference, there are 6 or 7 words for love. (1 Timothy 6:9, 10) 9 However, those who are determined to be rich fall into temptation and a snare and many senseless and hurtful desires, which plunge men into destruction and ruin. 10 For the love of money is a root of all sorts of injurious things, and by reaching out for this love some have been led astray from the faith and have stabbed themselves all over with many pains. The Greek word used is (Storge (στοργή storgē) a synonym for and in context "coveted after--lusted after. " this is an attitude with is in contradiction to "love" that define familiarity of something;(Philia (φιλία philía) an affectionate regard, of dispassionate virtuous love. The love used in this passage is not a "good" kind of love. Unfortunately most languages do not distinguish with clarity what the word love is specifically representing therefore we have a serious misconception in the liberal mindset of what a "good" and "bad" love of money is, and they often ignore it is not the "money" but the bad form of love of money that is the root of all evil. This also comes to the 7 deadly sins. Greed, Lust and Envy being three of them represented in the "bad" form of love being used in this passage. Further looking at Greed, there are different forms of Greed not all of which are bad. Again peoples lack ignorance of the English language often spurs them onto arguments that are not applicable when talking about money, and is Wealth evil or not. I put it to you that in the "Christian" context Extreme wealth is not bad or good. In fact Job not only was the "wealthiest" of all the oriental, but after he passed hit tribulation, God bestowed on him 7 times more than what he had. This in itself indicates that within the framework of Christianity Wealth is not a bad thing. It is our personal attitude toward it that is good or bad.
Mr. Maloney, . Thank you for taking the time and having the passion to lesson us about the common misunderstanding of our present economical, political and social environment. It has ,been a pleasure to listen to your well presented material and yes, I will share this with my friend and family and anybody else that wants to listen. Hector E Rios Georgetown, KY
My hat is off to you Mike. Reading Atlas shrugged turned my life around back when I was a young Air Force officer. It shook me up. A once famous (infamous) historical figure once said, "He alone can arouse passion who bears it within himself." Guys like you keep me swinging. Much sincere thanks from a regular Joe.
True, honest & a deep desire to serve others are very rare qualities today. After 4 years of being Mike's student, I can confidently say that about him. A true legend, glad I found you years ago.

Many many moments in this great work tear me up too. The sheer beauty of the truth being said so clear and precise right in the face of the NPCs of her day is majestic and deeply moving. These tears remind me that I'm alive and I'm the kind of human that would make her proud that her work touches us to the core.
My college-age oldest son is reading AS now, and I just mentioned the "money speech" to him and how perfect it is. I'm heartened others see it the same way. In many ways, I see this speech as the heart of the book, even more than Galt's later on.
Good Job Mike. I understand why your choking up while you read this segment. But have courage. History will paint itself true. Gold and Silver. Buy it. Hold it. And wait for the green light.
exactly.. and what is the root of money? and what is the root of product ? What we have today is the lack of men willing to produce and their willingness was driven away by bad money aka currency aka credit .... Robert is right on spot but only few will understand the true meaning and the true level of his word !
"when you see that In order to produce you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing",If that doesn't describe working In America today I don't know what will !
+Craig Swafford Well usually politicians gain permission through the vote, but obviously that has been corrupted in many ways through votebuying, importing left-leaning voters through immigraiton etc clearly democracy is the easiest system for external actors to subvert (either foreign invaders or unelected capitalists/bankers).
This is why I love youtube, it spreads virtue and knowledge to everyone, information age would definitely change mankind’s behavior. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, Mike Maloney....Got your email and this vid link yesterday again. I'm on the gold and silver like never before thanks to many...but/and I refer to you for that education with your videos and subscription and insights for breaking it down. You are appreciated beyond belief, sir. I prefer pure gold by the grams these day but I APPLAUD you, sir!
tears.. from a man of some experiance... things that i produced.. and give freely along with my admiration for shareing the product of your experience with me.... thank you.. this goes under things i will always remember... and like you... hope to share often.
Money is not only not evil, it cannot be. Money is a medium of exchange. It facilitates the exchange of labor for value and value for labor and necessary items. It is necessary for our lives as humans. The saying is often misquoted, originating from the Bible. Correctly presented, "the love of money is the root of all kinds of injurious evil". It is properly understood to mean that "the love of money is wrapped up in a multitude of evils". All evil does not involve money.
Well it becomes evil when it is produced out of nothing then tied to human labor making people slaves, if YOUR not taking your currency and turning it into money silver then your a slave, but even if you do put it on real money you remain a slave because they use paper money to suppress value of silver... and then they send their shills out to tell you there is no manipulation... But it's only thing you can do is stack and hope their paper system blows while you are still alive to see it.
nlucctw2 Yes but the way you put it will make all the difference in the world brother so be kind so they don't in the end kick you in the ass cause its their lives which Christ died for is at stake and we're representing JESUS the very CHRIST God with us. GET IT STRAIGHT!!! Don't like it do ya? Think brother. Love you . CHEERS see you on the other side. PEACE.
I have watched this video more than three times now... I can't explain it but the way this "masterpiece within a masterpiece ", as you called, talks about the values that give value to (sound) money and the emotional effect it had on you (and me, on the first time I watched this video) is just unique! I truly believe that you should return to post this, on youtube and on Goldsilver's news feed, so that more people could see and apreciate this almost forgotten masterpiece.
And that said, I truly thank this inspiring series. It has enlighten me and millions in the world. A heartfelt gratitude to you and your company, Mr. Maloney! Thank you for your great acts!
Mike, I've watched this video twice and I think it has a great message. Thing is I just don't get an emotional response from the message itself, I get more of an emotional response from the passion that you show and what it means to you. I don't know why I feel this way but I do. I guess to me, it's like you said, its a tool, that's how I see it. As far as me and money, I've never had all I wanted but I've always had enough. There were times I've had very little, now and days I've had more then ever, I don't think it's changed me a bit. It's just allowed me to do more with it, a tool that has become more efficient. I been following your work for some time, so don't worry, I'm listening and I've taken a lot of your advise to heart and I've made good choices. I'm still learning Mike so Thank You and keep up the great work.
Bill I think I listerned to the message with a tear in my eye because (even back then) it predicts the the financial travesty that is happening not only in the US, but in many other countries. The sad part, is that we are allowing it to happen. The constitution is what made America great, and it still could be, if the constitution hadn't been abandoned.
Silver Maple Leaf the constitution is just a piece of paper. what made america great was the people who lived at that time. their carefully cultivated minds and the model of reality the average person built about the material reality. this is all gone, america, the minds of the people living there today, has been destroyed through compulsory schooling and other complementary mind control techniques. and no paper can have the slightest effect on that... embrace yourselves! an unsound society started to crumble down and the crash will shake the whole world.
Thanks Mike for all you do, that is a heart felt read. Your love for the people comes through, I have a new level of respect for you. Peace to you and your family.
***** everyone is a trader, you buy and sell things. mike even says - know when to sell when it gets too expensive, so ya he is a trader, hes not gonna hold onto gold and silver forever
It’s obvious you truly care about the subject and have a great understanding of the real meaning of “Money” and not currency. Good to see a real man that can express emotion where it is appropriate. You see America for what it was and what it can be again, not perfect, but worthy of admiration. We should exhaust every avenue to get back to our roots.
I have to know - I heard a really great song on one of these videos which was related to gold or something similar. It was a woman singing, but I don't know who it was, or what video it was on. If you know please tell me
BravO Mike! You could not have chosen a better author from whom to quote nor have picked a better passage to illustrate the point. I appreciate what you are doing for our country. I truly hope people are listening. Thank you sincerely for making this vid.
Money is not the root of all evil. The love of money is the root of evil. Materialism and the love of objects more than the love of people is the source of all evil.
+Al, Orange Park, FL Just to add to that: Mike, you should probably look at the KIND of love that verse is referring to. To really get the most out of what the Bible means, you need to look back at the original language. For instance, in Greek, there are 4 different KINDS of love and each of them is distinctly set apart from the others. Back to this verse though, it is the love of money for its own sake, idolatry, that is really what's being alluded to here. Money is an excellent tool and can be used for good or evil. Those who use it properly can do well, those who worship it are materialists and idolaters, putting money in the place of God. Anyone who says money is evil is obviously very wrong. Money is inanimate, so that'd be like saying a gun is responsible for the death of whoever it shot at, or that a knife should be punished for stabbing someone. In other words, it's nonsensical to say that money itself is evil. But the adoration and worship of money, which is something entirely different to the recognition that money is a powerful tool in the hands of the responsible, is what is really being condemned. Jesus put it another way: you cannot serve both God and money. You CAN do great things with money, things that would please God. But pursuing money for its own sake is materialism and idolatry, which is to blaspheme God.
***** That's actually completely untrue. You need to do some research before just assuming the modern translations aren't accurate. In fact, the similarities between any two strange copies (copies whose making/writing had nothing to do with each other and whose locations and time periods aren't coordinated) are over 98%. Meanwhile the closest second to that is the Iliad by Homer, with an unimpressive 60% of agreement between strange copies. No other document of an ancient text even comes close the modern Bible's accuracy and agreement. Remarkably the Bible has changed almost not at all throughout history, aside from the additions. And if you include those, the Bible still remains totally consistent in its message, even though 40 different authors wrote it. That's unheard of. Just ask any scholar who studies this type of stuff. The Bible is one of the most reliable historical documents out there. You should look it up.
As a Christian - The bible says "The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil". Not "Money is the root of all evil". As a Libertarian - Ayn Rand had plenty of intelligent ideas. She was also a horrible person.
Money is a tool, it is emotionless, it doesn't hate you but it also doesn't care about you. At the end of the video Mike was getting emotional about a speech on money - emotion clouds the mind and decieves intuition when it comes to markets! When silver was almost $50 there was a lot of emotional videos and even crying about silver! Now it is below $22 again, and another crying video on silver comes out! I don't like this at all!!!
Hi, I think if you ask Mike about what he was getting emotional about - it would have more to do with the path that this once great country is on, and frustration with the lack of understanding of why things are headed in the direction that they are. You may need to watch and read the speech again. This is bigger than 'a crying video on silver'. Assumptions can also cloud the mind.
***** Dan, I think that Ayn Rand's passage on money is one of the most brilliant and insightful passages about wealth. But I have watched countless hours in the last few years about precious metals. When a channel does a video that involves crying there is a correlation (not necessarily causation) that people taking their advice will also be crying soon!
***** Dan thanks for the quick response! When I first opened my channel Mike Maloney opened my eyes to the benefits of precious metals. From there I expanded my knowledge by finding people who make a living in the silver market. Mike makes a living by selling silver, he is very good at that and I trust him 100% with service and quality of silver. But to understand the silver market I started seeking out people who make a living in silver other than bullion dealers. What they say about silver is not always the same as what Mike says! Mike is a fascinating person, he said he hires traders, but what he posts in his videos often contradicts what the people he says he hires would say about silver.
Mike, I completely understand your emotions about our corrupt monetary system. I've seen all of your videos. I try my best to educate others. You are not alone. Thank you for everything you've done!
yep, and thats why she did it using a fake name, and didnt want it to be public knowledge that she was a pathetic parasite...hahhaahah and, her writing sucks...
So you don't know. Taxes are compulsory and it is obvious that those who oppose welfare statism have every moral right to claim their wealth back through it.
Strugglebuggie TV Stealing a bit of the money stolen from you, while not ideal to fix or correct the system, is not morally suspect. However, she hid this because most people, like you, are not capable of rational reasoning, and would only look at the surface.
***** ad hominem, ad hominem, ad nauseam... your feeble attack on my character takes nothing away from the facts that: ayn rand died while on welfare, and was a con artist and a thief... ahhahahahahahaahh
Mike, I have even more respect for you in your willingness to post a video in which you get 'choked up' while discussing the terrible future that is not outside the realm of possibilities. I sometimes have to stop when i discuss the potential outcomes of the ways in which society is heading...for the same reason, i begin to get very emotional about it too. so, as sincerely as i can in a comment, i wish to thank you for sharing this. And even more because of WHY you wish to share, publicly and freely.
i read this out loud to my parents and couldn't do it without my voice shaking and tears running down my face too... if you truly understand this, and understand where we are as a society, you probably cant read this out loud to a group of people you care about without almost breaking down... the emotional content here is too overwhelming and heavy... you start to think of the people that sacrificed their lives for this country, and then what 'we' have let it become... you can feel the greatness evaporating...
Been listening to mike for 8 years now, took his advice , and tried to get others to listen to his videos, I fear once again he is correct , thank you Mike for opening my eyes to the real world of fiat and real wealth.
Thank you for your inspired reading of that awesome speech! Having myself read many times Atlas Shrugged, The Fountainhead, Anthem - as well as all of Rand's currently-in-print books - I am now inclined to reread her first novel, We the Living. From the Aynrand org site, this blurb: "Published in 1936, the story is set in Soviet Russia, from which Rand had fled to America ten years earlier. "The immigrant Rand was startled by the failure of American intellectuals and politicians to uphold the American ideals of individualism and freedom, and she was horrified by the widespread acceptance, even sympathy, that greeted the spread of communism, socialism and fascism in Europe. Rand resolved to expose the 'noble ideal' of collectivism, through the story of three young people whose lives are sacrificed by an all-powerful state." "We the Living" describes those of us, today, who alone are "alive," in the true sense of that word. So many today are not.
You are the only other person I have ever seen who chokes up at that speech. The truths she explains are so powerful...I can't understand why so many seem blind to them.
Anyone here in March, 2020?
thanks for all the explanations and information, Mike. Really appreaciate it much!
Hi Mike. Took your advice - watching this one again. Thanks!
Thank you for what you do mike, I’ve learned more from you in the last few months than my whole “school education”
Yes indeed mike..always following, always believing..your book is playing out like a prophecy
yessir. You suggested I come back and watch this again. so here I am.

Sir. I come from a different part of the earth. But this was a revelation. They taught me in movies and we were upper middle class in my country- that wealth was created by cheating others. It wasnt true. My father was quite distressed when people misbehaved with him almost 20 years ago just because he had bought a car after years of effort. Thank you. Will always remember this
😭
Please share this video with anyone who tries to tell you that money is the root of all evil.
***** Nailed it Mike.
Watch the video at 10:40
Wrong. Evil is the root of all money.
Mike,
I actually stood up and clapped for you when you finished! What a message! Now, This should go viral.
Thank You
Thanks T Narg - please share it and get the message out.
The warning she so eloquently gives has never been more clear and dire to this countries survival than at this time.
Possibly the most important, prescient, and moving paragraph of prose that has ever been written. One can never hear it enough.
Thank you so much.
This is one of those gems I find on youtube once every several months
I love the sincerity and compassion in your voice and how moved you are by these words written in another era for our times. God Bless you Mike.
Thank you Mike Maloney for reading this passage. I was just as emotionally moved by the profound words as you were.
2024 still coming back to this piece.
If I had listened to this speech a few months ago, I would have dismissed it, completely. I wouldn't have seen the strong reasoning behind it. I wouldn't have understood the man's emotion while reading it. I'm so glad it came to my life in this moment.
You can't have "group talk" about Rand regarding "Atlas". We can just enjoy hearing the words in a human voice. That's worth everything.
he truly read that from the heart., you could here it in his voice.
We need to take back, what You & so many others fought for 💯
Uncannily prophetic. Well done Mike.
August 2020, still with Mike since his book came out.
I wasn't alive, until I read this one. That's for sure
I always tear up when I read this
This speech made me cry :S
Atlas Shrugged was the book that opened my mind to the philosophy of liberty. I'm glad that Mike Maloney and his team at GoldSilver.com created this video.
God I LOVE Mike Maloney! Just think if we had 2 dozen Mike Maloney's running the White House! - the world would be a much better place :)
PEACE.
No one in their right mind would want to run the white house. Its why u never find them there.
Just seeing this for the first time and am sharing it far and wide. Never thought that Mike Maloney could make me cry ....and yet here i am with my hankie!! Thanks for this Mike....beautifully done!!
Wow, what an excellent video. I can really feel the emotion
Thanks for linking this again Mike. I'm not a huge Ayn Rand fan, but these words are among the best ever set to paper in the English language. Folks who understand what she was saying here will take measures to ensure they secure their food and water supply while not freezing to death in the winter.
Thumbs up if ZeroHedge brought you here...
Well, I got here on my own, but I'm an avid ZH er...so I thumbed up anyhoo.
The love of money is the root of all evil!
Thanks for sharing, Mike. This was extremely eye-opening. It caused me to look at my paycheck harder, and realize that 17.5% was taken out before it hit my wallet.
Thanks Keith.
What an insightful writer.
A gold nugget of wisdom!!
This should have billions of views.
Magnificent on so many levels! Mike you have transformed my way of thinking on how and why money is created and traded. I am dyslexic too and you are a true inspiration.
Ashley (UK)
Thank you Ashley
Thank you Mike. I'm 68. I have supported myself since I was 17. In my early 20's when I was searching for direction I stumbled upon Ayn Rand. I read The Fountainhead and was so inspired by Rand's idea of Objectivism that I read ALL of her books. I credit Rand with putting me on a successful path of life. Her books out to be required reading for all young men and women. Thanks for reading that passage from Atlas Shrugged. I just posted it to my face book page.
Want to help find a solution? Here is another MUST WATCH video: Mike Maloney's Forum For A Monetary Solution - Bitcoin? Gold? Silver?
trying hard to pay off debt which im close to doing then to get my first ever 10oz Pegasus, fingers crossed on availability when im able to do so.
Katrin FitzGerald I say that you are right
The reference is basically biblical and it is not said in Christianity that "money" is the root of all evil, but the "Love" of money.
I come back to this every time. Gets me Amped. Reminds me of the true virtues of mankind and the enemies that defame them.
Mr. Maloney,
.
Thank you for taking the time and having the passion to lesson us about the common misunderstanding of our present economical, political and social environment. It has ,been a pleasure to listen to your well presented material and yes, I will share this with my friend and family and anybody else that wants to listen.

This brings tears to my eyes every time I watch this video and I have watched it many, many times. Bless you, Mike Maloney.
118 dislikes? I think we know who the looters are!
181 right now, they may be reproducing themselves fast!
Money is not the root of all evil. The LOVE of money is the root of all evil. There is a distinct difference.
Tulving company went out of business with customers not getting their orders. So far Mike has shown only integrity and honesty when it comes to running a business and dealing with his customers.
Many many moments in this great work tear me up too. The sheer beauty of the truth being said so clear and precise right in the face of the NPCs of her day is majestic and deeply moving. These tears remind me that I'm alive and I'm the kind of human that would make her proud that her work touches us to the core.
One of the best speeches of all time!!! :)
He's so moved. Beautiful.
Mike Maloney is a fuckin' ARTIST! Beautiful :)
Excuse me while I watch, and listen, again. Thank you, Mike.
I am speechless.
Taking off my hat.
Profound words.
Thank you.
Thanks for sharing.
One of my favorite scenes from Atlas Shrugged. I love Francisco and Rand.
Omg i almost cried. That was amazing.
My college-age oldest son is reading AS now, and I just mentioned the "money speech" to him and how perfect it is. I'm heartened others see it the same way. In many ways, I see this speech as the heart of the book, even more than Galt's later on.
Anyone else here in 2024
I commend the passion and emotion. I too share your passion and emotion for the situation we are in.
amazing piece of writing and very well read sir, congratulations
Thank you Lee
Thank you Mike, you've been a great inspiration to all that seek knowledge. God bless AMERICA.
I've read both Atlas Shrugged and the Fountainhead and they are true masterpieces.
Amazing reading Mike. I'm proud to have had the privilege of meeting you at the Cambridge House Vancouver Conference. You are a great man.
Good Job Mike. I understand why your choking up while you read this segment.
But have courage. History will paint itself true. Gold and Silver. Buy it. Hold it.
And wait for the green light.
In this situation I completely share your thoughts and emotions ! Thanks for your work and stay healthy. Best wishes from Germany...
Robert Kiyosaki on the other says that, lack of money is the root of all evil :-)
He says that from a completely different perspective. He means it from a perspective that having no money forces you to do stupid things.
exactly.. and what is the root of money? and what is the root of product ?
What we have today is the lack of men willing to produce and their willingness was driven away by bad money aka currency aka credit .... Robert is right on spot but only few will understand the true meaning and the true level of his word !
Yet, the people with the most money are creating wars over oil, resources and the expense of countless of lives.
This was moving! We appreciate you passing down your wisdom.
@craig........ 💯💯👌👍
This is why I love youtube, it spreads virtue and knowledge to everyone, information age would definitely change mankind’s behavior. Mike Maloney your life and passing of knowledge to future is well worth to society, especially to new generations. People who are young and stupid will one day watch this and understand, thank you
Dear Mike, thank you very much for this moving video.
I will be sharing it.
Thanks Barbara, much appreciated.
This video was the best I've seen so far on RUclips. Wonderful words, wonderfully put. Bravo and HUZZAR!!!
Thanks lup1o
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, Mike Maloney....Got your email and this vid link yesterday again. You have brought clarity to me, a recovering dyslexic, over-achiever, who got HAMMERED in 2008-09...NEVER again, and now awake to the WHY, the how, and the what of the fiat systems of ponzi and theft.
@fred.......... FIAT Currencies, NOT Money💯
What a true honour it was to listen to such reasoned words, I would hasten to say wisdom itself. Bravo Sir! I shall do my best to spread the Gospel.
let's get it straight as the bible says it: THE LOVE OF MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL. NOT MONEY ITSELF.
nlucctw2 Yes but the way you put it will make all the difference in the
world brother so be kind so they don't in the end kick you in the ass cause its their lives which Christ died for is at stake and we're representing JESUS the very CHRIST God with us. GET IT STRAIGHT!!! Don't like it do ya? Think brother. Love you . CHEERS see you on the other side. PEACE.
Thank you I was just thinking the same thing. People get it wrong all the time...I see you got a couple of weird responses
Thank you Mike.
I watch this film every three months or so.
Thank you for making this short, but powerful, film. Ms Rand's book is great also.
Mike. What made you get all choked up. Was it because you sense parallels between the book and the time in which thus video was made?
And that said, I truly thank this inspiring series. It has enlighten me and millions in the world. A heartfelt gratitude to you and your company, Mr. Maloney! Thank you for your great acts!
Thank you Sam, hope you can share the videos.
Thanks Bill, great comment.
Bill
I think I listerned to the message with a tear in my eye because (even back then) it predicts the the financial travesty that is happening not only in the US, but in many other countries.
Thanks Mike Maloney for standing up for right and standing against wrong! GOD bless you brother!
Soon we will all be crying. The charade has to end.
Thanks Mike for all you do, that is a heart felt read. Your love for the people comes through, I have a new level of respect for you. Peace to you and your family.
dont let emotions control your trading Mike!
Mike is not a trader, so that isn't a problem.
If you know please tell me
ruclips.net/video/wfG9QaPBBy4/видео.html
wow, thanks a lot
BravO Mike! You could not have chosen a better author from whom to quote nor have picked a better passage to illustrate the point. I appreciate what you are doing for our country. I truly hope people are listening. Thank you sincerely for making this vid.
Ayn Rand is a badass.
Money is not the root of all evil. The love of money is the root of evil. Materialism and the love of objects more than the love of people is the source of all evil.
the "love" of money is the root of all evil, why that's always taken out of context I have yet to understand
+Al, Orange Park, FL
Just to add to that: Mike, you should probably look at the KIND of love that verse is referring to.
Omg what did I just witness it's the best speech ever Nothing can explain Money better than this piece from Atlas shrugged 👏👏
As a Christian - The bible says "The love of money is a root of all kinds of evil". Not "Money is the root of all evil".
As a Libertarian - Ayn Rand had plenty of intelligent ideas. She was also a horrible person.
Such touching words. More important then ever. Thanks for sharing! I'll get the book.
When a channel does a video that involves crying there is a correlation (not necessarily causation) that people taking their advice will also be crying soon!
silverfuturist Not all of us count their chickens before they hatch.
***** That is the wrong analogy! A better one is "a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush."
*****
Dan thanks for the quick response!
Thank you for everything you've done!
ayn rand was on welfare (social security) when she died...ahahahaaaa
Do you know what restitution is? Is it wrong to steal your money back from your thief?
yep, and thats why she did it using a fake name, and didnt want it to be public knowledge that she was a pathetic parasite...hahhaahah
and, her writing sucks...
The Power of Word Wisdom... Mike Maloney give his Honour with his Tears... Very impressiv
Thank you very much from this. I don't think a lot of people still understand this message to this day, but I still thank you.
Thank you for your inspired reading of that awesome speech!
Having myself read many times Atlas Shrugged, The Fountainhead, Anthem - as well as all of Rand's currently-in-print books - I am now inclined to reread her first novel, We the Living. From the Aynrand org site, this blurb:
"Published in 1936, the story is set in Soviet Russia, from which Rand had fled to America ten years earlier.
"The immigrant Rand was startled by the failure of American intellectuals and politicians to uphold the American ideals of individualism and freedom, and she was horrified by the widespread acceptance, even sympathy, that greeted the spread of communism, socialism and fascism in Europe. Rand resolved to expose the 'noble ideal' of collectivism, through the story of three young people whose lives are sacrificed by an all-powerful state."
"We the Living" describes those of us, today, who alone are "alive," in the true sense of that word. So many today are not.
You are the only other person I have ever seen who chokes up at that speech. The truths she explains are so powerful...I can't understand why so many seem blind to them.
