Thanks for watching everyone! What's your favourite Tequila? Favourite Tequila Cocktail? As always the recipe is in the ^^Description Box^^ along with the links to the Limoncello recipe and the Milagro interview.
I like them all, as long as they’re palatable (my palate), from bourbon to whiskey to tequila, etc. I enjoy this series even though I rarely drink cocktails but straight.
I'm not sure it is my favorite, but I still have about a third of a bottle of Cazadores that I picked up in Bajio, Mexico in the very early '90s. You've inspired me to go dig it out of the back of the cabinet and taste it again! I should really buy a current bottle and see how the taste has changed since Tequila became more of a 'thing'!
My father gave me cazadorez when I was 14 and 14 years later is still my favorite. Especially with cazadorez and grapefruit soda is the most authentic mix in Mexico. Give it a try
I hope you might think about doing an entire video just on tequila. It may not be about brands specifically but the types and definitions, processes and other mysteries surrounding this wonderful drink. I have mine with OJ almost exclusively so some other options are great to see.
Thank you so much for your inspiration and recipes! One thing, would it be possible to have the recipes in milliliters, centiliters and so on? Conversion can sometimes be difficult....
You know what might be good? Get in contact with an alcohol distiller and see if they'll sponsor some episodes of After Dark. A little bit of moolah and some small bottles of their product for making the video with their product. Also, going back to Mexico? Will there be anyone with access to the hanging ham to monitor it if something goes pear shaped while you are out of the country?
Glen is right here in that a cocktail that is good is totally subjective as are most dishes that are made. I will say when someone says that a drink should only be made from this or that spirit, it’s because they come from a place of experience. I think the message here should be don’t sell yourself to convention. Glen is using three tequilas I am not familiar with. It doesn’t mean I can go more mainstream and use JC Gold/Silver (or whatever cheap tequila available). Just don’t be like a hardcore religious evangelist with your food and drink, be you and your local culture.
Didn't buy them special for the episode - just used what was on my shelf already. I don't have a budget to buy anything for this series... it has to be pretty much what I already own.

Glen & Friends Cooking that casamigos is my favorite. Only tequila I've had that I enjoy neat.

Casa Dragones. Best tequila I’ve ever tasted

Codigo... only stuff worth the money.
I love how the lighting is low on cocktail episodes!
You like not being able to see him?
@@zebunker did you just insult my favorite grocery store?

Drink the first one for brunch, the second in the afternoon, and the third in the evening. Problem solved. Love the show!
Casamigos blanco / silver is quite different- and really exceptional value. Quite smooth!
Absolutely loving this series Glen.
i prefer the flavor of espolon tequila. try it sometime!
MILAGRO Reposado 'Select Barrel Reserve' is an AMAZING Tequila 💥

1800 reposado is my go to Tequila. great flavor and priced right. That being said, Casamigos is fantastic!
Glenn, can you do a Long Island ice tea? Love this series and the dimmed lights, thanks.
Thank you so much for your inspiration and recipes!

Looks wonderful! Informative too! Thank you for sharing.
I've seen this tequila on the shelf at my local store. Gonna give this a try next time since I don't have a reposado in my cabinet.
Love me some Case Amigos, thanks George!
Those are some awesome drinks Glen! I will take the beach and Mexico drink. Lol
Don Julio is my fave by far. El Tesoro is nice as well.
In relation of choosing a good Tequila, It's not that hard, just make sure the label says 100% Agave
Hi Glen
what is the name of this cocktail?
I bet using limes instead of lemons would be great in that. That would make it Limoncello I guess? haha
Condigo is the only tequila! Woot! Also, tequila from Mexico tastes different than the North American version.
This cocktail needs a lot more testing.
Coming from New Mexico, tequila is my favorite spirit. Nothing beats a Patron margarita in my opinion
Experimentation. I'm in. lol
Love your content Glen! Glad to be your friend!
Thanks for the tequila comparison! I like Cazadores and now I want to try Casamigos Reposado.
We really like the new lighting and we dig your hair
-Kiki & Pip
That’s cool and all but when do you add the ginger ale??? lol

squozen juice?
Love the apron!
3 tequilas on hand, is everything okay Glen? 😂
I wish I could like Tequila. A reckless New Year’s Eve from my youth has ruined it for me.
Lol...the same happened to me with gin when I was 18, it took me almost 20 years to get over that night :D
Gin did it for me. I couldn't even smell juniper berries for a couple years.
Give the casamigos he has here a try.
For the money cazadores cannot be beat
Casamigos is the only tequila I have ever tried that I liked.
But I am a whiskey drinker and it has some of those qualities I like.
Colored tequila comes from the used oak whiskey barrels they put the tequila in and for me gives a bad after taste. Silver tequilas are the way to go.
Going back to Mexico?
yep -
@@GlenAndFriendsCooking That's great. Can't wait to watch those!

My go to cocktail was Long Island Ice Tea back in the '80s. Can you do this cocktail?🙏
Your comparing two respesedos with one blanco
Very astute, it's still experimenting with different brands and ages of tequila.
I’d pick the one with tequila Casamigos, that one is far better....
Love your stuff. I’d like you to add more ice after you build your cocktails and shake a bit harder and longer. Cheers from Austin, TX.
Hey Jackson... It's called editing. You have no clue how much ice I used, or how long I shook it.
A lemon margarita.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand he's drunk.
Almost blasphemous to use Casa de amigos Reposada in a mixed drink but I do like lemoncello
Idk, if "cazador" is a good tequile, i guess "jose cuervo or jimador" are betters ones,

First! Yay!
3 tequilas I've never heard of. If you are gonna do a comparison taste test you've got to throw a budget level option in there.

If is not tonayan, this will not be a great cocktail
