I feel like compared to female beauty standards, the bar is so low for men. You literally just have to be a standard cute guy and you're good to go.
hoebi hoebi Facts! I’m not hating on male k-pop groups because I, myself actually stan boy groups more than I do girl groups. However, the bar for k-idol women are soo much higher than the men and it’s sad tbh. It’s like the women have to be unbelievably gorgeous and skinny all of the time. Not to mention, the knetz are always so much stricter when it comes to womens visuals in comparison to the mens. I’m not bashing the men, because in my opinion, all kpop idols are extremely good looking (like 50 times better looking than I’ll ever be), but I do believe that there is more pressure put on female k-idols in the industry to have unrealistic visuals 😓

I don't think so actually, at least I don't see any of them as a standards cute guy. They're above average in terms of visuals.
This is likely because a lot of the Korean fans who enjoy commenting on appearances are female. One can be a bit blinded if one finds someone physically attractive, and because many of them are straight, they find certain male idols attractive and can overlook their physical flaws. But with another woman, celebrity or not, one can often either become jealous, or overly critical of minor flaws, leading to more criticism of physical appearance. Women are often out to get each other.
It's because women compete on a harsher level. Being feminine id the biggest trait
I think all of NCT DREAM are cuties. Especially Jisung. Watching him grow up makes me emotional. 😭

He was actually who dragged me into NCT(was floating around back then before fully decide to stan them lol) It was when Dream's Boom kept popping up in my recommendation and I thought damn what a cute guy (which is rare believe me or not cause i dont really look at visuals). After avoiding various Boom perf I gave in bc his smile kept bugging me in the rec

Objectively speaking I would say it's Jeno. Jeno has natural cute eye smile that koreans love and it just makes him really adorable. His features are also one of the best I've ever seen. He has such defined jaw and sharp nose that there has been talks about how he looks foreign. Like what we always say, he looks like a literal greek god! He isn't too 'pretty' and 'cute' but also isn't too 'manly', I feel he's in the middle ground. I don't think he lacks the soft look??? He literally looks SOO soft when he's not on stage. When he smiles it's just softness overload.
His skin has always been fair but he doesn't look 'whitewashed'. He's very natural. In fact, everything about his face is very naturally balanced.
Also can we talk about his body? He's well-built and his height really complements it. His body proportions are also👌🏻
Jeno is also a concept master, which means his visuals and vibe are very versatile. He suits different concepts and outfits.
So I do believe Jeno is #1, he's also been the official visual of NCT Dream.
Side note i actually expected renjun to rank higher because the first time I saw him I already thought he looks korean.

By Korean beauty standards I guessed that Renjun or Jaemin are either on the #1 spot, though in the eyes of Dreamzens, NCT DREAM are all above average visuals, they are all good looking, my kids ❤️

Jeno and Jaemin both suit kor beauty standards, they are the Krystal and Sulli of NCT Dream, different vibes but both has traits which koreans usually eat out, Jaemin has more an actor face and feel while Jeno feel more like an idol, which is why both of them have the visual position in Dream.
