The fact that Suho eats Paneer, means he and his family are probably vegetarian and not vegan. There is a difference in both, so when you visit bakeries ask for eggless. There is a chance the man told you nothing is vegan in the context that it has "milk" in it. As Vegans don't consume milk either but vegetarians do.
