Great basic advice but this is deffo more on the safe side, wear any hat after 14 days, grafts are fine . Gym cool after 3 week's. If your over worried follow the advice on this video
The doctor I went to told me that by the 4th day, the grafts are anchored in enough to the point that letting water run on your head from a power shower won't dislodge the grafts. He also told me that ball caps are generally okay as long as they can sit on top of your head without touching any of the grafts. I myself didn't let the water start running onto my scalp until day 9 with some moderate scrubbing and I don't see an ounce of bleeding, so I'm going to assume that I didn't dislodge anything.

Hey Amit, i have recently had a hair transplant done by vera clinic. I was just wondering from your experiences what time would you say i should return to showing normally and be able to use a power shower again? Also when would you say I would be able to return back to my normal sleeping ways from before the hair transplant?. Thanks
Hey man, first off congrats on getting your hair transplant done! As for returning to a normal shower, i personally took over 3-4 weeks to start taking regular showers again. I did not use a power shower until after the 2nd month, closer to the start of the 3rd month. I did not want to give my grafts any reason to fall out! I would sayd after 3 weeks is a safe bet to sleep normally, but i took 4 weeks just as a precautionary measure! After that it was fine for me! 😊
Interesting that a lot of hair transplant sites say it's OK to wear a bucket or loose baseball cap after 3 days or so (being careful, of course). Are you just being overcautious?
im always overcautious ahah. but in all honesty based off my own experience, using a bucket hat or loose baseball cap after 3 days is wild. Your head is still going through so much healing i would advise not putting anything on it! especially if its not clean or dusty, you never know!
@@amitposthair I think the idea is to place the hat so that no part of it is touching a grafted area. I get being cautious, though, given the investment.
Hey Amit thanks for the nice video you posted. Regarding swimming, my doctor recomended me to avoid it for 4 month. Is that not a bit exagerated ? His concern was because of chlorine contained in the water. what do you think? Is 2 month after surgery not enough to avoid swimming ? I'd not like to wear a tight swimming hat after 2 month since they can damage the transplated hair a lot.
Thanks man! For swimming, I actually personally waited for 4 months before I first dipped my head in a swimming pool. I think it's just better to be safe than sorry to be honest. By the 4th month you really start seeing hair grow out and you're a little more confident that dipping your hair in chlorine filled water won't do any damage to your grafts and scalp! You could probably go in after the 2 month mark, but just to be safe I'd wait a little longer. Hope that helps!
Hey Amit really appreciate this video ,I have a question about what you said in the video about stretching your scars what does that mean exactly,I mean does it mean if you have grafts transplanted in the front you shouldn’t raise or lower your eyebrows too much?
thanks man! so the hair follicles, especially in the first few weeks, are able to shift if you apply heavy pressure on them so soon. it's just better to avoid touching or using anything on your head really. as for your eyebrows, i dnt think moving them excessively will have much effect on them, its more of things being applied to them by touching them

the most painful part is during the injections of the anasthesia. After that, the first week of recovery is a little tough but you have pain meds to help fight that. after the 2nd week you're pretty much back to normal and not as much pain anymore

@Zahid Shah I actually wasn't using it before (although I probably shouldve)! I only started finasteride after my hair transplant and have seen some good results. I usually take 1mg every day and it's been going well so far. The doc recommended 1mg per day everyday after to maintain your existing hair.

@@amitposthair How long did you leave your shampoos and lotion on each day before the 11th day ?
My clinic say you need to leave it on for 10 minutes. I sure you said in your video you left it on for 40 minutes was that each day before rinse?
And thank again for your help and replies 👍
did you get professional massages
i did not!
I’m a gym bunny but I’ll do it 1 month 😢
you got this!
I work construction bro I have to wear a hard hat would that be a problem
for the first month at least i would recommend not wearing a tight hat. If you have to wear a hard hat, i'd recommend adding some sort of cushion inbetween to avoid lots of pressure on your grafts
Do you use finasteride?
I do! 1mg daily!
Thank you bro can i msg you on your ig?
@@danteforteza9852 of course drop me a message anytime and I will try to get back to you as soon as I can!

Can I meet you in person, bro? I need an assessment on my hair transplant results. I will be in Vancouver next weekend.
@@10dburibaeva33 oh man that's awesome that you're gonna be here. Unfortunately I'm gonna be away in NY that weekend! If you want you can drop an email to me at posthairtransplanttips@gmail.com and I'll try to reply when I can!
Did you take your flight with no hat on?
i did! i just wore my headband that was provided
Can I wear a du rag after 1 month ?
i actually wouldnt recommend it after a month since a du rag would need to be tight on your head. I'd wait till the 2 month mark just to be cautious if you had to wear it!
Don’t wear hats but u can wear a surgical cap
How long before having boom boom with you girlfriend or wife??
You're on the wrong channel, go to some impotency channel where they walk you through how long after that blue pill you can boom boom
LOL they say you should wait a week but patience is a viture my friend. Plus its very awkward to do anything with your head feeling the way it will after the surgery so soon!
No sex 😂❤
hahaha eventually you're able to get back on that! 😅
Liar
Don't trust this guy
I started putting loose fit hat on 4th day from my hair transplant
sorry to hear that. you can use it at any day, but its advised to wait to let your transplanted hairs breath and not come into contact with anything. to each there own!
I wore that bucket hat Vera Clinic gave me on my flight home the next day after the HT. 4900 grafts. No problems.....
thats awesome man! I chose not to as i flew off on the 4th day after my surgery, they only recommended that i could wear it after the 5th day
