My 5 year old autistic daughter is Plini's biggest fan. Last summer when I was driving her to daycare, I put on Electric Sunrise and she got very zen. As the summer went on, my NON-VERBAL daughter started singing the guitar melodies on that song. No long after, I showed her the whole album and she ate it up! If I tried to put something else on (like Dream Theater) she would throw a fit, screaming and crying until she got her Plini. She has memorized nearly every melody on Handmade Cities! She even claps to that part in the song Handmade Cities (about a minute in) where they layered every other snare hit with a sampled hand clap sound. This experience was huge to me because my daughter is autistic, so connecting with her can be very hard. But now, we have a serious connection thanks the Plini. I'm a guitar player (25+ years) and music is incredibly important to me. Bonding over music with my daughter was truly a gift. There's something special about the energy and emotion on that album that resonated with my baby girl. Very uplifting and inspiring. I love your music Plini! Keep sharing those beautiful songs with the world.
What a crazy power music has. Your story sounds so lovely, wholesome and flattering. Have a great one rocking (or zenning) out to Plini with your little one! ❤️
Wesley, I can totally relate to your situation and understand the joy of your daughter discovering the magic powers of music, most importantly connecting with a musician as proudly talented/gifted as Plini. He truly is a next level musician, his melody and finesse is inspiring! My son is 8 years old and has autism also. He was ultra sensory in his first few years and being a musician myself for 30+ years and having a deep love for music, it was so sad that anything I played to my son caused him great distress and discomfort, regardless of how calm or gentle the music I played to him.... until I played Moving Pictures by Rush one day and he sat quietly throughout the whole album. I played it a second time and he was transfixed. He was 2 at the time. For some reason, he connected with the band Rush and slowly we worked through their catalogue of albums. They are still his go-to band 6 years later but he now listens to other artists and other genres of music which is a blessing. Music is another world of beauty and for a child on the spectrum to resonate with it, that’s a gift they have. You’ll probably find your daughter memorizes Plini’s melodies perfectly The thing that blow me away about my son is his ability to memorize the most complex melodies and passages and hum or sing them pitch perfect. The thing about Plini is he makes it all look so easy, regardless of how complex or fast, he flows on those Strandbergs with the ease of breathing.
All those subtle additions and nuances you’ve added in the play-through are suburb! You make playing flow as easy as breathing Plini. Your balance of space and minimalism when it comes to you melodies among the occasional shred moments is utter perfection. That contrast is just another dimension that makes your music standout from many of the other next level instrumentalist virtuoso guitarists in this scene.
I know nothing about plini but for some reason listening to song after song is like hearing the band tell you how things have been going, hearing stories about their families, having a laugh in-between, and then stunned by intelligence in a breakdown, and then casually acting modest as not to boast as a song resolves back to the riff. such a trip
Been my favorite band since 2017 because of this reason right here friend! Finally got to meet and see them last week and get pics with them all! Keep listening!
I can't avoid to have a smile on my face watching this, it's like when you watch superhero movies and you get a lot of inspiration from it. Thanks for make us happier and better humans, lord Plini.
Plinis composition is like six degrees of emoition going through my body. The more I listen, the more I want to listen again and again. He is the magician of emotions ❤
I love how Plini songs aren't just "guitar masturbation". It takes a lot of skill to think about the song as a whole when you're playing only one instrument and I love how Plini does that.
That's what I just thought when I heard the song! It's all for the song, no need to flex. We know how good he is, that makes every intentional note all the more meaningful.
I love seeing these as whenever he does a playthrough, he slightly changes both the way he plays and the music he plays. It is sooo interesting and fascinating to hear.
Your words about a how a certain type of music reaches certain people in very different and perhaps strange ways was very heartfelt! Tonality is a great key to unlock so many closed doors in someone’s life! Happy for you guys(also guitar for 40 years now)
Amazing play through! I love all the little flairs and flourishes you add compared to the studio version. “Pan” and “Impulse Voices” are two of my top 3 on the album. Please record a play through of “Perfume”. It’s so hauntingly beautiful and deserves to shine like this. Thank you again, Plini, for everything you compose and share with us.
hey bro i hope you never stopped making music, man your music inspires me, it gives me chills everytime i listening. patiently waiting for your upcoming releases.
I dont know if this is even Plini's house or anything, but the change in his filming locations from sitting on a bed in an apartment to this woodland escape make me feel like he's experiencing the success he deserves. May it trickle down to me as I listen to this album, amen.
Um yeaaah, luv the varying tones and percussvie vibe to this that inspires me as a guitarist & then the way you can prettily play a melodic line is diviiine! So many cheers!
This song embeds itself into your subconsciousness. You don't think much of it when you first hear it, but 3 months later you can't get it out of your head. wtf.

such a great thing to read after a long day. god bless plini, as well as you and your family.
Beautiful. Thanks for sharing. That’s a compliment above and beyond.
I love how this man has the most calmest expression while shredding insane chords
Animals as leaders album and some Plini on the same day? Jesus this is gonna be great
Sure thing bro👌🏼🔝
That's exactly my thoughts haha today is a truly great day

I came to the same conclusion this morning when I heard 'Red Miso' for the first time.
@@GazzaniSilva loved that song, was watching the premiere last night.
Plini's music is like anti-depression technology.
It's witchcraft! Lmao

Infused with
Indeed
That positive vibes, it recharge soul
2:45 And suddenly, the voicing of that second guitar track is clear as hell to hear and WOW.
It sounded so natural, I almost didn't even notice what happened.. beautiful
I can not thank you and the developers enough for "Archetype: Plini"!!!
Plini always brings something new and fresh to the table, the best modern prog rock player for sure.

what suburb?? Ryde?
Lovely, it's one of my favourite songs of the album.

Really appreciate it when a playthrough video has some 'added-new-sauce'. And it's nicely shot, too. It's amazing.. Thanks for being awesome!!❤
Been waiting for this play-thru
Plinis composition is like six degrees of emoition going through my body. The more I listen, the more I want to listen again and again. He is the magician of emotions ❤
See you in Charlotte! Looking forward to this!
That editing at 2:45 sickkk 🔥❤
I love this! Probably listened 50 times at least. The clean tone is so spacious - when it comes back at the end, that is ear candy!
I love how Plini songs aren't just "guitar masturbation". It takes a lot of skill to think about the song as a whole when you're playing only one instrument and I love how Plini does that.
yeah but even so, you gotta love Plini's playing - it's so good, so nuanced but deceptively difficult in places and he makes it look effortless

The picking at 0:17 is just soooo damned perfect omg. Can we get more of that percussive picking in your future music? 🥵
Jesus... I'm a decent guitarist but that is on another level.
Shit is ridiculous

Absolutely stunning...
Wow, that multi-layered melodies are something ! What a groove !
bro, that natural wood top. i never knew i would be in love with a guitar with no paint job.

Goddamn that ending went way harder than I expected
Jfc the riff when the black guitar comes in, absolutely melting
Боже, насколько же великолепная музыка у plini. Каждый раз пробирает аж до мурашек. Надеюсь он не продавал душу дьяволу чтоб творить такую красоту
Always a pleasure listening to someone who can most likely outshred you but is showing restraint in service of the song.
Majestic. As always, delivering magic 🌌🌙. I´m pretty sure you´ve enjoyed lots of ☕ in that amazing cozy looking place. Thnx mate, I´ll share this 🙏

The pristine clean and the articulate leads tone from Plini are the best modern tone ever.
No doubt about that.
He and Aaron Marshall have become my favorite guitar players. I have been playing for over 30 years and they make me want to be a better player.
The Colours are so Vibrant Love the aesthetic sense of the background and Cool music
