    nice channel....i have a question... i am building an outside avairy and want to have the birds inside my shed at night...can Kakariki's and budgies be housed in the same cage...around 1x80 mtrs at night only ?

    Do you think Kakarikis are as prolific breeders as budgies?

      I would have to say yes. Once you get a pair that bonds, they will continue to breed a couple times a year.

    You shouldn’t cross breed yellow front and red fronts because there are so many hybrid ones about now it’s killing it for the pure yellow fronts. Other then that nice birds mate.

      I totally agree Tom, I was given that bird from a friend that didn’t want it. He Is really tame and it comes out everyday to have a bath.
