The first thing I learned in my first week of my economics degree was the TINFL principle: there is no free lunch. Since then I've been very suspicious of all bonus points things ... so I have a lot to learn here to convert into a believer.... just make sure to read the fine print folks..... stay safe!

Question.. most of these cards require an annual fee.. if I open all these cards how would it be beneficial to keep paying the fees $95+ ?

I had a Chase Sapphire Preferred card last year and enjoyed the sign up bonus for rewards. I closed the card. Can I open another one in the future, and get a new sign up bonus? Or it a once only thing?

We "TRIED" doing this - and Trust me Chase keep's track and will not allow us to close and than reapply-get approved again for I'm guessing a period of like 2 years - (and Please anyone correct me if I'm wrong) - HOWEVER - Chase will accept you BACK (reinstate you) with your CSP immediately if you request it and pay the annual $95 fee. I think the "trick" and only ways to get "another" big bang intro points award.... is to have your spouse sign up separately (meaning you can't have them as an additional card-holder on your original CSP)....hope that makes sense.
