      You will not have 3 point dft... dft will be 2pt 4pt 8pt 16pt and so on....

      Odd pt dft exist... you can solve using formula method or matrix method. For example for 3 pt dft......Use in formula 2pi/3 or solve by taking 3x3 matrix

    Sir small doubt ... calc part I didn't get ..like I'm getting a different value.. I kept the calc on cmplx and still I'm getting a different value.. hopefully u see the message sir tomo I have dsp exam.

    how to compute 4 point DFT of the sequence x(n)= cos(n Pi/2)?

      Put values from 0 to 3 for n in cos term and find x(n) then you can solve…
