Do the calculations by a+ib formula for mod and phase , you won't get any calculator in competitive exams, DFT is also part of signal and system
i have fx-82ms calculator how can i find the magnitude and phase of X(k)
How to calculate magnitude and phase in fx-991ES calculator:
1. Set the calculator in Complex and Radian mode
2. Press the value of X(k) for which you want to calculate the magnitude and phase.
3. Press "Shift+2"
4. Select option-3

He is switching from imaginary mode to real mode and vise versa by pressing "Shift + Equal" in fx-991MS Casio calci

How to find phase in fx 991es
Be in complex mode. Now, press "Shift + 2" next, you will see a list, among those options select "3" and you should be able to find phase. hope this helps😄
how is that -1.57 is pi/2
Phase response and phase spectrum both are same or not
Phase response is numerical value and phase spectrum is graphical representation of phase response.
If any one is asked in exam you find the values and plot the graph.

N is the number of samples
As shown in the question, there are 4 numbers, so N=4
Where is radians option

Sir what if N value is not given ?
Usually they will specify the N value in the question... if N value is not given... check the no. Of samples in the sequence and decide N value... hope this was helpful
