    all kids in elemtary, or even younger are going to be living the life, Im cureently in my second last year of highschool and I dont think esports is recognizable enough for my parents to even consider this. But kids of the future will have so many opportunutys. Im telling you that in a couple years esports is going to be one of the most viewed sports in the world

      They’re not teaching it. It’s an extracurricular activity just like football, golf, chess club, pep club, choir, dance club, or any other activity.
      The concept isn’t new; just the technology.

    This is a good video. I’m a 17 yr old from Michigan and I’m part of the FGC and I’m also a musician. I own a small team (not monetized yet fairly new) called MI Haikyu. Also I am a senior this year in hs. #ClassOf2021. And we do have school esports, but our only fighting game is Smash ultimate, I think we have League of Legends as well, but as I’m part of the FGC, we should have Tekken or Street Fighter this year In HS esports for our school.

    If i had his parents i would be playing 4 hour at the minimum every week day even if i was sick and on weekends 12 hours at minimium i mean i already play 12 hours on weekends non stop and its fun for me and if you're wondering what I play it's Rainbow6

      While it is true that students run the club the majority of the time, our sponsor allows the club to be recognized as an official club bringing some organization and recognition as a club to the school! We are all very thankful for Mr. Millers Contributions as our councelor, I can understand the confusion though

      @@jdmaster6368 I can almost certainly assure you that this man is being paid. Do you honestly think it's a coincidence that he'd have a hand in forming a club that would run itself while he's paid to sit around and do nothing?
      I don't blame him for trying to get extra money on his paycheck, but it's unfair to teachers who put in time and effort to run clubs while this sits on his a** and collects paychecks.

      @@joshuatelem8796 as one of the founding members of this very club last year and the kid literally in this video I do happen to know how it works, sponsors at FHC don't get payed for being sponsors its only until you register your club as a club sport that you get "payed" and its miniscule in comparison to the needs of the club it is literally not worth his time, but he does it anyway because he wants the opportunity to help his students get scholarships and build life skills

      the easiest way to get money IMO is to play fortnite and get to champions to compete in cash cups. I know friends that have hundreds in earnings just by getting to champions league in arena and doing cash cups.

      Virginia B. Britton that doesn’t always mean they are muscle free. My son is extremely athletic as a runner through XC and the track team. He’s also training for special ops in 11th grade. He’s won awards for computers and is also one of the best gammers .

      call of duty isnt really a competitive game, its way to easy to get kills on fast paced ads games, compared to games like CS:GO, you have to memorize the map layout, spray control, flash pops, etc.

    Another way to look at it.. the college is buying out of expedience..... Sports slaves of all varieties.$ not really caring about their well-being.. some way for the college to make money.. although it can be an illicit reciprocity if the recipient of Scholarship takes advantage of the opportunity..

      Of course! At fhc and many many other schools LoL is the premier esport to run at every level we only show OW in THIS video but i would say that there are probably more LoL high school teams than OW teams just an estimate though

      The scholarship allows them to go to college to learn a career. Maybe a couple of them make it to the pros, but most of them will simply use the opportunity to get a degree. That IS the point after all.
      You people act like they’re trying to get a degree in computer gaming. You’ve got to have an extremely low IQ to not understand how scholarships work.
