People in the comments hating on Esports is pretty funny. These people are living their dream while having more of a reason to work out. @@comegdjeja6557 Wooow i totally forgot about this video. btw, a sport implies competition among people, which doesn't occur in a regular job, not to mention how e-athletes, as well as traditional ones, need to work on teamwork, reflexes, coordination, efficiency and other skills exclusively belonging to competitive sports which, still, don't belong to any regular job

However, when you look good, feel healthy it def helps you put in the hours to get better at gaming I guess..
dude it does help. Espeically the game they are talking about CSGO. When Aiming is a big part of the game. You need to have good sleep, good diet, + minimal workout and you will see big improvements. Speaking from personal experience. I tested this theory while I was playign Valorant. Significantly improved, went all the way up to top 1% player from 20% player. You are correct too though on improving weakness but when it comes to games that you need to aim. I belivee all those factors are just as important.
Imagine Device, Gla1ve, Magisk,... do these things at the gym lol, the physical health is important but the key factor here is your brain, your reflex, and your hands.
i doubt its their main goal to build bodybuilders, they just want to keep their bodies healthy so that they have less injuries and a healthier mindset. which is by the number of esports team that is doing the same a pretty common thing already for a few years.

The intention is right, but the execution is sloppy. That guy called their operation "sophisticated", yet they showed obese people (not the best look), none displayed proper form, they were doing the wrong exercises as well, lastly they are wasting a TON of money without proper instruction. So the benefits received will be minimal in comparison to their genetic potential. Fire the manager and bring in competent people to whip those guys into excellent shape. They could be doing way better. 😎
Seriously, watching a guy do some low weight leg extensions does not make you an athlete. It's just playing videogames all day and occasionally going to the gym. If they can compete with any type of athlete of any level, then sure you call them athletes.
if money is involved - it is business. We need to differentiate distinctly between sport and Business. Sport is what you do for enjoyment, self improve, love etc. If it is money - then you are merely working for a living. Working for a living is hourable and necessary - but it is not Sport.
There are shades of grey seperating those two poles, don't think only in extremes. That you are now able to make money with what you are passionate about does not mean that you instantly lose the passion for it. You don't really seem to know what you're talking about there.

I know when you watch something like CSGO its about reaction time, it just isnt... if you play these games you would know its much deeper than "reaction time". Crosshair placement, movement skills, mental capacity, tactical strategy. Most of the most important things you need on videogames, and reaction time isnt really one of them.... thats like a given basic skillset more than anything.
Doing half assed reps on a machine... sure they train like athletes lil
Damn different Shaz same energy
First Time Seeing Shazam In The Gym 😂
People in the comments hating on Esports is pretty funny. These people are living their dream while having more of a reason to work out. These work outs are mainly for training their Mental rather than their Physical. Gaming can be a sport (and currently is if you haven't noticed already). To be the best you need a lot of experience, discipline, and dedication to your craft. And they're doing just that. So what's your guy's problem exactly? I've seen more fit Esports player's than non-fit.
So, okay boomer.
These guys will open us in online games
Nothing wrong with trying to balance out video games and an active lifestyle
a pro gamer lifting 20 pound dumbells is less than a high school freshman yeah athletes
Seems to me they're just compensating for their lack of physical activity - or getting a little respite
MrKarlozz You don't know how they live, they could be playing other sports too
Bruh I actually work my ass off to be the best I can be at football and wrestling and then we get these lazy gamers called "athletes "
They are though
When it says "They're training like professional athletes" she means that they spend more than 8 hours a day training on videogames , as traditional athletes do in their sport. Is it that hard to understand?
That’s not training like a pro athlete. Bro everyone with a full time job is training like a pro athlete in whatever their field is then…
@@comegdjeja6557 Wooow i totally forgot about this video. btw, a sport implies competition among people, which doesn't occur in a regular job, not to mention how e-athletes, as well as traditional ones, need to work on teamwork, reflexes, coordination, efficiency and other skills exclusively belonging to competitive sports which, still, don't belong to any regular job
@@gabpiccioni9750 there’s not competition in a regular job? Okay well that’s dumb as shit and not true at all? Tf are you on about?
Crazy that the team moved to my city
Ik about esports but their workouts aren’t shit, even when teams go to red bull facilities and stuff they may get cut but their cervicles and thoracic extension stays terrible playing for 8 hours
"25 million dollar price" *laughs in Fortnite*
esports players are finally going to the gym
They have been for Years.
Media:gaming isn’t a sport
Pro gamers: yea aight
Aiden Fuller it isn’t. It is a game. And there’s nothing wrong with that..
KdJ2's Twin isn’t football a game?
KdJ2's Twin they deserve to be a sport just like any other
@@yummyfunnybunny5167Speed Staking, Speed Cubing, Darts, Curling, Archery and Rifle shooting the list goes on and on my friend.
I'm all for getting healthier but there isn't a correlation between getting better at gaming and being more muscular...you may look the part but in videogames it's all about practice and improving on your weaknesses .
Goes to the gym *professional athlete
A few shitty gym exercises cannot be assimilated to a true professional athlete's training regimen.
Imagine Device, Gla1ve, Magisk,... do these things at the gym lol, the physical health is important but the key factor here is your brain, your reflex, and your hands.
this is a team of chad gamers, super gamers
These kids are amazing!!
When they tell you to git gud...so you do...you git real good.
I’ve never seen 27.5 DBs before. 1st for everything, especially working out for these “Athlete’s”
25 lb dumbbells? These guys are definitely getting ready for the combine 🤷🏻♂️
Cruz They're trying to be active not be a eggba- I mean football player
Defiently not making a visual difference, hardly training like professional athletes...
i doubt its their main goal to build bodybuilders, they just want to keep their bodies healthy so that they have less injuries and a healthier mindset. which is by the number of esports team that is doing the same a pretty common thing already for a few years.
1:17 WTF WERE THOSE MONITORS!?!!
found the 12 year old
I was playing super smash brothers competitively I retired when I was 17 years old didn't even have a job I was playing 10-12 hours A-day it was crazy stressful plus traveling all over new york new Jersey area. Now I am 28 and have been to way more tournaments but my mind is healthy and I don't mind losing as long as I give it my all and then some. And lol off course I cant play nowhere near as much as before but have fun first.
I guess if they train as hard as professional atheltes do, then I train as hard as Arnold does
Keep it up 🙏🙏🙏
The only game I'm good enough to go pro in would be Battlefield, and i don't think they have any leagues for that game, its not really an eSport game.
an excuse to get these gamers to exercise
ive never understood why people love esports so much but at the end of the day if it gets fat dorito munching mountain dew slurping kids outta the house and into the gym so they lose a few kg I dont see any negative effects from this
You've never understood why people love esports? Well, it's quite simple really...people have different interests to you. I'm not huge on e-sports either but it doesn't take a genius to 'understand why they love it'. 2nd part I agree with.
cool bro
@@unclepoopoof25 I hope you got something positive out of my comment, bro. Have a good one.
unclepoopoof25 Stereotypical bullshit, same thing with people liking normal sports
They are not train like traditional professional athletes. They go to the gym like a normal person would and watch what they eat. If they really train like professional athletes then man would a lot of them be skinny/fit . to be honest
“Training like professional athletes” excuse me
"Like" doesn't mean "exactly".
CR0W they should have said training like regular people
@@trexbattle Well, I train like a regular person everyday and they do more than just the average. These guys are like the in-between of a regular person and a more traditional athlete. Unlike other athletes, they need a balance between physical and mental exercises since this is mainly a mental sport.
"training like professional athletes" yet they look like your typical Planet Fitness member. over here pulling and pushing 20lbs lmao. zero intensity, im assuming zero cardio and they probably eat garbage as well. and from whats shown theyre doing the least beneficial exercises lmao. all of which constitutes as "training like professional athletes". thatll definitely give you that "fraction of a second".
inSynced Because #esports is much more about the brain and reflexes, being more muscular or thin does not necessarily yield a direct improvement in performance. More important factors are the things that have an effect on concentration, stress and again reflexes. Training like any athlete will most likely give out gains regarding these aspects.
Saying “they eat garbage” is really an assumption and isn’t even true. If you look into it teams have personal chefs that make sure they eat right.
Umm... I'm pretty sure you're the exact same as them if that is the case... Just take a look at your channel
inSynced I agree its a stretch to say they're training like pros, but they are training for different reasons. They're training to help their mental wellbeing, which will translate to performance.
Clearly Blind, they are ripped.
Stopped 1 minute in. Biggest joke amongst gamers. As someone who has been gaming since elementary school, weightlifting since I was 12, and has trained with pro's this is ridiculous. 😎
You have to be a yes man and older players are blacklisted as a marketing tactic.
ESport put good mind start with good chores, in this case gym like exercise.
I keep hearing plair will be huge
Seriously, watching a guy do some low weight leg extensions does not make you an athlete. It's just playing videogames all day and occasionally going to the gym. If they can compete with any type of athlete of any level, then sure you call them athletes.
they were prof athletes for a while now
So I train at gym 5 times in week. Im I now professional athlete?
5 hours each day. Your on your way if you want to take that road.
Babizin Try playing competitive csgo
2:46 my boy J
If they are training like professional athletes, why don't they look like or have strength like them?
Takes years my guy
This has to be the funniest thing ever 😂😂
ok boomer
Haha if all these guys were buff it would definitely increase popularity for whatever reasons!

Buff gamers rise up
Ngl we all ottermode tho
if money is involved - it is business.
@@Hoichael you can love the work you do. My point is that earning money makes your enterprise a business. Not a sport.
But now that the olympics is a business, really the concept of a Sport has been lost for a long time.
If you couldn't live off your sport, adults wouldn't pursue them. In capitalism, you need to secure a living first and foremost before you can even think about enjoyment.
@@ononono7016 then you are working for a living.
Sport is what you do that is not to earn a living.
That is the point of this comment
@@importantname Many professional athletes and other people would disagree.
I don't understand why you put sports on such a high pedestal that it would be immoral to capitalize on it.
