Question: I rode Walker Ranch last weekend for the first time in 6-7 years. It was a touch over 8 miles with significant climbing involved, and were it any longer I would have run out of gas. This is approx 12 miles but the climbs look a little milder - how do you think the effort compares?
I'd say Walker is harder technically/physically speaking but Buffalo Creek may take a bit longer time-wise. Maybe bring a power bar along and you should be fine!
@@OwenHalsethMTB Went and rode it as an out and back yesterday to the South end before it dips down to the campground. Next time I'll do the full loop, but will bring a water bottle in addition to my 100oz camelbak. What a cool, fun trail!
@@mlb6d9 There are so many options out there for longer or shorter ride. I like to start at nice kitty and do the grind all the way up through scraggy and then get a ripping 10 mile downhill as a reward.

One of my favorite trails! Thanks for sharing!
Buff Creek is an intermediate riders playground. Love it.

@@OwenHalsethMTB The increase time is no big deal - It looks like a great ride and I'll be riding solo - Thanks!
