I just got this lens and whenever I touch my lens to zoom while shooting it disconnects from the camera making AF stop working and aperture open all the way up. I’m going to send it back for another one. I really want to love this adapter. Have to test AF more though
wow, that's cool stuff for my R5, I just dont wanna pay $400 for an adapter when I can own a similar one at $159.99, definitely will go for the meike one!
Meike is the worst sh*t. I had adapter ef-rf from them and it introduced same flare as in free-lensing. Just go with canon and don't risk it, its not worth it
Just be careful because the piece of crap breaks and your lens falls on the ground. Bye bye lens. Happened to me, and lost a 500€ lens, fortunately not a more expensive one. Never Meike again.
@@FlatWaterFilms Yeah, it was a Canon EF 70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS II USM but I bought it used, so... :)) By the way, the quality of that lens is great, I highly recommend it. Somewhat similar to RF 100-400, you would never think a non-L lens produces such good quality.

Great stuff. Thanks. Did you notice a loss in sharpness when using the clear lens? Also your glasses looks good, what are those?
Best showcase and review of this adapter. Thanks!
This Meike adapter is just a must have!
Hii.. really wanted to know an important question does Cannon drop in filters works on meike adapter .. ?
Thank you in advance
Can you test it with wide angle lens. Commlite vnd adapter is very mushy in corners with wide angle lens.
Hello! Just to confirm with you with 16mm it works perfectly with no vignette!
@@ChristianoGioacchini Can you send me 16mm raw pictures with and without nd filter?
can you use also the same time a mist filter in it?
Gonna check it out. I was considering the canon version but couldn’t bring myself to pay that $400
It’s honestly amazing!
Great review!
I have it and it’s AWSOME 👌🏾
It really is!!
