Perfect rods. Sensitive, fast, light and strong. You can fell everything down there. "like a sonar" one guy said. You can feel strike of 100g zender on 28-82g rod and easily take out 5kg catfish on 14-47g rod. Perfect for zender, but handles catfish easily also.
DAIWA Australia....any idea if u can buy a set of these guides anywhere on this earth?or Will I have to buy a daiwa rod with the ags guides on and remove them onto a blank of my choice?
These look good but very delicate. I wonder if they will survive the typical fishing abuse that happens during a hot bite. Te Daiwa rods I have owned all tender to have a slower action and more movement in the mid and tip sections than I would typically like. I hope the AGS guides eliminate this hindrance.
IMO this is wrong. Guides do not increase sensitivity. They are just guiding the line. Sensitivity depends on the line and rod. Further, carbon guides are extremely fragile. They break instead of bending if hit by something. I would prefer titanium any day.
Brian Sørensen , IMO....... if you don’t know how to fish, it’s pointless to spend $500+ on a rod let alone $800 for a Daiwa Exist. Me, the better the tool, the easier it is to fish. $100 rod/reel combos are a waste of money.

In saying that though while reducing the weight.
How well does it stop wind knots and braid abrasions say like the Fuji K or Sic Guide??

With that same analogy Brian, then all current Motor Vehicles are still running around on a Model T Ford combustion engine! Lol
lol you this guy really thinks that guides don’t affect sensitivity…
