While I agree, giving Charizard *two* Mega Evolutions is a bit excessive when the whole trio could've obtained the same, Gigantamax is completely fine as it is, Blastoise and Venusaur wouldn't get additional formes as well. Still, I don't think this is a good reason to hate a Pokemon, this's Gamefreaks own bias towards a Pokemon they consider lovable in their eyes, not the fans that love these specific mons. Greninja isn't bad because of Ash Greninja, quite the opposite. Mewtwo isn't awful because of X & Y, it is a memorable Legendary that deserves them. Pikachu isn't bad for being Pikachu because he is just the mascot, its like getting angry at Sonic or Cloud for being in their respective games. Charizard isn't bad for his presentation in the series, he is still a equally awesome & badass Pokemon as Venusaur/Blastoise are, and one that has held Pokemon on his shoulders since RGBY. Though, disliking him is your own opinion, and I won't go against that.

Right?! I totally agree. I especially love how dynamic that Leon shot is (1:51). The huge change in scale from a closeup of him to a super wide view is so well done. And the foreshortening in the “fisheye” ending of that shot is great. Glad other people appreciate this stuff 🎥🤝🎨

I mean the pokedex explains the other reason why charizard wouldn't listen to ash. It only fought things that were really strong
