What a lot of people don’t understand about “the numbers” is when Kanye was releasing music at the peak of his genius, streaming services weren’t as popular, radio was more of the wave, and social media was not anything in comparison to what it is now. I’m not saying Drake didn’t earn those spots because he’s consistently releasing timeless music but the numbers do lie because if Kanye has those kind of streaming services for his albums, a lot more of his songs would have gone much higher.
