    Hey everyone! Excited to check out the second rounds and hopefully get more to go on here! Let me know what you think, as well as dropping a few suggestions in the comments!

    This was your best vid yet! You watched the whole vid with great reactions, then explained all of your opinions perfectly afterwards. I feel like you will eventually become one of the bigger bbx react channels. I suggest you react to some of the sbx and beatbox international shoutouts. Such as Azel - Demuth, husky’s recent shoutout, etc. Also you could react to some of the popular kbb/gbb wildcards that didn’t make it in/you haven’t seen. And soon you’ll be able to react to GBB 21 🔥🔥🔥

      Thanks yeah I’m planning on going through some more popular shoutouts and the wildcard idea is good too, there are for sure some loopers I’ve just recently heard of that I’m sure did wildcards, also thanks for the positive feedback I always want to be growing and improving and couldn’t do so without people in the comments helping me out!

      I can look through it, but I've watched most of the big rounds for this, I gave my background a bit on one of my earlier videos but maybe I should bring it up again now that I have some new viewers.
      In short, I was super into beatboxing back in the early 2000's (2000-2010ish) and then stopped paying attention for awhile. Near the start of Covid I was thinking of things that I used to be into and started getting into it again, since then I've been watching tons of reaction videos as well as competitions to try and catch up to everything that has happened. So if a video was popular enough that other reactors have reacted to it in the past couple of years I've very likely seen it.
      Some of them it's been over a year since I've seen it though so I'd be happy to react to it again if people were interested!

    I think you're underestimating Robins round. For me this was his best work yet. Yes it may not have been as emotional and powerful as his lion track or riding on top of a car, but it was on par with his other first rounds. He starts fun and entertaining on his first round and the gets emotional on his second round to go for the knockout. He has this figured out to a t. This round was the best performance he has shown ever because of many factors. First you take the track itself, very catchy, melody on point, singing amazing as usual, very funny, lyrics was creative and it was suited towards Kristof. Then you take the atmosphere, the lighting, the smoke, even the camera work, the movements and use of space in the room. Then you take into account the fact he brought in an actual Kristof lookalike and how he took a jab at his foot work but it was so creative. He printed out a picture of Kristof on an elephant. And then you have the dancers which had to rehearse for this and perform a mini choreography. He made a diss track towards Kristof and also a commercial for Fortis at the same time in classic Robin fashion. Compare that to what every other looper has done which is have still camera and film by themselves, with a few exceptions. So many elements taking into account and the amount of work far exceeds what any other looper has done. This is the best round of any looper and more importantly, there is no way to counter Robin successfully. He will win KBB easy but Kristof was a worthy opponent.

      For sure, I think as far as Robin's tracks go there isn't a ton of difference in quality, just personal preference really. All of his rounds have been my favorite rounds so far, and do agree so far his tactic of having more fun round 1, and going for the kill round 2 has really been paying off. The song really was his biggest battle round so far for sure, other times he's lightly poked fun at other competitors but this one the entire track was for Kristof, well and the watch :D
      I do expect and hope for him to win too but hey, I've seen some comments pointing out some flaws with Robins round too, different people like/dislike different things so it's really going to be up to what the judges prefer!

      I enjoyed Robin's track more but, it's a loopstation tournament, so video isn't the biggest factor to be judged based on. Robin can max get 4 points more than Kristof when it comes to showmanship(which is still a lot considering the previous results), this round wasn't a "battle round" in my opinion, as he was just playing around with the lyrics, his 1st round against KBA had the final Thorsen technique as the battle move but he didn't have anything like that in this round, Kristof also doesn't get the inexistent battle points. "The amount of work far exceeds what any other looper has done", you said but all the points you talked about come under the showmanship part, but it is about looping and not a "music video", better music wins it thats all, video is a bit extra which the opponent can do if he wants to, but not many points are given for the video alone. Showmanship also includes the hyping factor, hand gestures and facial expressions which Kristof did show, of course not as much as Robin so Robin goes ahead by a few points. Plus the video isn't something Robin is doing, it is done by someone else, so Robin getting all the points for some other person's work is a bit unfair. As I said, I enjoyed Robin's track more, but the points you have put out are false, talking about the actual judging point of view... Idk who wins this, I just got a little bored of Kristof's stuff ngl.

    I see here there are people with a serious crush on Robin... I find it a little bit odd to talk about being professional when this is called "kickback battle". What I don't like about the KBB format is that they've set the bar so high that now they can only add "who's the best trash talker" to their production. Robin's round clipped, there were some issues but overall it was a great song, just "the same" as all the other first songs of each rounds so not as impressed. Kristof's round is a good counter. I think it's too close to call it at this point - it's not just a matter of taste here... it is a bit funny to see how much resources Robin needs to make his videos - though they are amazing, I think it's starting to be a distraction to the actual music.

    • @Dysexlic
      @Dysexlic  3 года назад +1

      Hey so I'm not familiar with the different battles and what they're supposed to be so bring up the "professional" with "kickback battle" doesn't make too much sense to me, but with context clues I'm assuming now that the point of the "Kickback" battles is they're supposed to be more light hearted? All I really have to go off of is the KBB earlier this year for Beatboxers, and can say I also felt like that competition leveled the skill level a lot even from GBB 2019.
      Also as far as clipping and mixing issues I can totally understand that I miss those, I'm not trying to judge this competition based on any criteria, I'm not listening for clipping/mixing unless it's super obvious (to me), I'm more just having fun listening to the tracks and sharing my thoughts with all of you! I can see how some people could find it distracting, I watched another reactor in the past who would pause every 3 seconds to point out everything in the shot so I could see this song being really annoying to watch them react to lol. Either way I'm pumped to see the next rounds and what the judges eventually decide!

      @@Dysexlic I get that, you gave your honest opinion and I appreciate that, don't get me wrong :) I apologize if the "hard on" felt like I was pointing the finger back to you... it was more towards other comments :) Anyway the whole vibe of the KBB started real nice but it seems to get people frustrated and more divided towards the finals because they are all at a such high level, it's becoming just a "who do I like better" contest... which is where my disappointment really comes from.

I'm an older guy appreciating what can be done with the voice and what these guys are able to do with that freakin' insane loop station :) I see similarities to what I've done about 25+ years ago, tracking music on PC... @@vizz2905 No problem, I could see that, it's hard to find imperfections in something that they had multiple takes to make, and then submit it to Sinjo to be mastered further. There's not going to be many flaws in something with that level of scrutiny. It's cool being able to find similarities in something so unique, I was in bands through most of my youth and even had an electronic band and there are for sure lots of similarities, hell they're taking things to a level higher than I was, and they're just using 1 device, I had fruity loops and all the plugins I wanted!
      Did some reading on that chip, always love reading about old tech, it's some of the most impressive stuff out there. I currently am a Developer and looking at the constraints the developers had to work in even just 10 years ago blows my mind!

  • @gem8500

    Kristof didn't necessarily say he doesn't want the watch, he said he doesn't want it as much as Robin does, and furthermore dissed him by saying WHEN he wins the round he'll send the watch back to him as a form of pity. That's not unprofessional at all, just a very smart clapback. And I don't get what's up with people loving Robin so much, I get the fact that he's brought something amazing and original to KBB, but at this point he's overdoing it with his videos when he should be focusing on the loop part. Kristof doesn't necessarily win or lose this round, because I have them both at a tie however slightly leaning towards Kristof because in terms of creativity at least he's not making it too distracting to pay attention as to what's happening and still delivering different music genres to the table

    • @Dysexlic
      @Dysexlic  3 года назад +1

      That’s a better way to understand his watch part, thanks for that perspective. I understand the idea of the video being distracting from the looping however remember I’m reacting to this as a viewer, not a judge, also even as a judge there are points (4) to give for showmanship so it is something he’s doing as part of the competition regardless. However for me it’s a video that I’m reacting to so the visuals do play a part in how I react, however I did basically say what you did, I still have this round mostly as a tie. I personally lean more towards robin but if I try to think as a judge it would be a tie and I could see it even leaning Kristof.
