- Glamping, or “glamorous camping,” is geared toward those who want to experience the great outdoors without sacrificing comfort. Lifestyle Expert Jaclyn Harper took us on a tour of a 200-square-foot Lotus Belle luxury tent, which she designed for the Backyard Living Expo using furniture from the Home Depot and accessories from Bouclair. Step inside to see how she set up a cozy and colorful tent for two.

The designer who conceptualized this is amazing! Before camping was seen as uncomfortable with smells, bugs, hard dirt floors, uncomfortable sleeping bugs, but this glamping setup is beyond comfortable. The height of the tent makes the space seem like it is 600 square feet not 200. The distinct living area separate from the bed is amazing. The bed is plush and beautifully styled with accent pillows. All the textiles like throw blankets add such comfort and warmth and texture. I love the idea of stargazing while you dine at fresco but also keeping mosquitoes out. It makes being in nature seem like a chic and fashionable endeavor and anyone can dream of entertaining in the elements with style to boot!
I also love the cathedral ceiling effect of the tent as well the lights on a string to add more magic

I love those tents, but they're expensive - although cheap living compared to a house obviously! I will be going the option of a 4.5 meter diameter Sibley style tent made by Canvascamp at less than half the price of the Lotus Belle. They also make other sizes including a 6m diameter that's still cheaper.
You're not alone Simon, it does seem pretty steep the price that is. But very comfortable living space...

these can grow mold on them, ask the tiny house guy on youtube cause he lived in one and it grew a lot of mold.
Yep, especially if you pack them away wet, but that's any cotton canvas.
@@redbeardedt3437 really its any material, so its pretty shady to say anything is mold free.
He also said all you need to do is purchase a cleaner and put in a little bit of love to maintain it when the mold on the top does occur ⭐️

The problem with camping in tents if you chose to use then to actually camp in the outdoors at a campground is that if its hot in the summertime, you cant have air conditioning
You can bring a coolers 1 or 2 depends of the weather on the summer day. Enjoy your vacation outdoor as like at home. 🌅
