Nice that you can add your own LUT to this device. If you use any LUT you create or download from others based on their recipe, you get a live look at what effect you will have on your image or video. The camera screen itself does not show the effect of a LUT. A solid review and it looks like a solid bit of kit. I agree that it could be a bit bigger, but if you are shooting on the go, then sometimes bigger does not always mean better or easier to carry. For the cost, it looks like a winner. Thanks for the insight. I as well like to have the preview monitor close to myself when taking selfies or videos. Therefore I use my iPad with the Lumix's remote app. Additional benefit is that I can also remotely change camera settings, even can refocus if needed. Doesn't your Nikons have a Wifi remote app?
It has Snapbridge, which is very temperamental and will stop recording if your phone or ipad goes into standby screen. They both have their places though for sure
