SCAN??? I make photographic ENLARGEMENTS of my negatives! To check grain structure, I use a 50 power USB microscope I bought on-line for $20, and to check film speed, I use a MacBeth densitometer that's probably older than you! I'm also a Nikkor/KIndermann stainless steel tank and reel guy from 54 years ago, although I have a Jobo processer too. You film babies should go back half a Century when we made our livings from B&W photography! Mainly with LARGE FORMAT cameras (4x5 press cameras). One event, FOUR SHEETS OF FILM! Come back with the photo!
Thanks for watching! Let me know your thoughts on DD-X
I always retrieve the film then load the leader on the reel before putting in the bag. Your fixer and stop bath is re usable.
I need to get a tool to retrieve the film, would be much handier. For the amount I'll be using i dont think it would be wortg reusing the fix and stop
@@KernohansNotSoSecretDiary might have a spare one, ill let you know if i find it
Thanks so much!
Times for wash and developer
