Palworld is an upcoming action-adventure survival game by Japanese developer Pocket Pair. The game is set in an open world populated with animal-like creatures known as "Pals". The players can battle and capture Pals in order to use them for base building, traversal, and combat.

Maybe it's because I'm on the preview system update channel but, for some reason, I can only play this game for about an hour or 2 before it crashes. The framerate gradually falls to the mid 20s and then the game eventually crashes. It has NOT been a one off issue. It happens nearly every time I play.
Update: If you play on the preview build of steam OS, it's going to have problems.
Update: Update: Palworld causes HARD CRASHES on steam deck. Even after the recent update and rolling back to the stable build of Steam OS, the game has some issues. I believe this applies to PC as well. There's seems to be this weird RAM overflow issue. RAM usage just keeps gradually going up and up until there's a crash.
I'd be very interested in seeing the differences in performance on both devices. I'm currently looking to buy one but I'm going to wait to see what the Rog Ally 2 specs are when officially announced, and by then we'll see how the MSI Claw performs, but I'm expecting that to flop, but would be pleasantly surprised if it does well.
