      Yes. The US gov will likely change or do away with the Roth in the next ten years. They're missing out on too much money in not taxing the growth

      @@wealthhacker no, I believe that everyone should have a ROTH. I believe that they're likely to be grandfathered in when laws change. Peter Thiel messed this up for everyone

    Question!! So when you say investing or putting in money every month for example $150-$200 a month you mean actually buy ETF or index fund with that money? Not just transferring money into the Roth alone? Right?

    Can you open a Roth for a business? If so, what are the limits? Can you continue to contribute if you retire from 1 job but continue to earn money from a business?

    • @wealthhacker
      @wealthhacker  3 года назад

      you can open a solo Roth 401k or a regular 401k with a Roth provision. As long as you have income you'll be able to contribute to the business retirement plan.

    So if I start with $100 and then put in $1000 into my account a day I’d have $364,100 in a year, not counting any interest I may earn. Boom!

    • @wealthhacker
      @wealthhacker  3 года назад

      you can but $100 a day is a lot of someone just starting out.

    normally i am skeptic of people inviting you how to make money, i can not believe 100 can turn into 2.6 millions, i assure no a single person of your subscribers were able to do that after the video, prove me wrong.

    Contributing $100 AND $250 a month is FAR different from turning “$100 into 2.6 Million”.

    Great GREAT video thank you for answering a lot of my questions. I have a roth ira and would like open a roth 401k and max both is that allowed. Is it possible to do self employed 401k with a roth ira being a w-2 worker

    • @wealthhacker
      @wealthhacker  3 года назад

      Glad it was helpful!
      1. You would need self-employment income to open the Roth 401k. You can't start one if you're only a W-2 employee.
      2. If you had a side hustle or side business, then yes you could do both, but....
      3. If combined you made more than the phaseout limits you would not be able to do the Roth IRA anymore but could still continue with the Roth 401k.

    One (hopefully) quick question: Can you open a Roth for a child? So it would be in their social&name, but you could grow it for them?

    • @wealthhacker
      @wealthhacker  3 года назад +2

      You can.....BUT...the child must have reportable income (no babysitting or lawn mowing money). Each of my kids is on my business payroll so I'm able to open a "Custodial Roth IRA" for them.
