I know, right I live in Appleton saw the decline of the store, other stores like Kmart that used to be on college Avenue years and years back they knocked it down the lot said empty for years and years and now there is a storage facility on a quarter of a lot
@@rkproductions1141 you guys would have loved that mall. It Pocket Change Arcade, a mivie theater, Radio Shack, a Kohls, Godfathers Pizza. When I was a kid, my cousins and I would play hide and seek in the mall. It was big enough to hide but not to big not to find everyone.
Worked there for 14 years and 23 total at Toys R Us. I was there until the final day. My coworkers and some of the wonderful customers are why i stayed for so long. Thank you.
I’m from Russia, and I remember small Shopping mall in my small northern Town, I remember Baskin robins which closed a lot of years ago it’s memory’s of easy childhood 😢
I only remember going here once or twice as a kid but I took my kids there quite often up until they closed. My favorite thing was taking them there for the birthday story with Geoffrey.
my one time ever going to a toys r us was this one in either 2011 or 2012 i bought mario kart ds, which i still have 12-13 years later! such a good game, recommend you play it
Damn. My parents would take me to this Toys R Us on my Birthday (back in the 90s) to pick out a toy or two…or an SNES game. Good memories man. Sad to see it go, but it was a dying franchise.
This is literally right down the road from me, I have so many memories of this place, getting my first Star Wars Lego set, it was the rogue 1 ship, god I miss it
So sad. This wasn't our Toys R Us. Ours was in Phx. AZ. Used to take my kids there all the time when they were little. We'd take them there before Christmas so they could make out their Christmas lists. Now that my kids are grown and have their own children, they will never have that joy of watching their children roam around that store, in amazement like they did. Like I said, so sad.
Here's a cool/creepy place. In Chicago on 1566 west Blackhawk street sits a normal looking restaurant on the north side of the city. However back in the day this was where two rival gang territories met and people were getting shot on this corner constantly. They say this corner is haunted and no business can survive more than 5 years there. When you look on Google maps history it's something different or closed down
When It closed in 2019 when I was still 9 years old I was so sad that it closed, now it is making a comeback in side of Macy's inside of the mall right next to it
Wtf? This is mine. I was just telling my girlfriend I’m extremely pissed our son won’t be able to experience toys r us. I remember getting my very first bioncle with my dad I got the blue one with Hooks
The fact of how i drive past this everyday. Went there with my dad to buy a nerf gun for my brithday when i was 11. I havent seen him since. I buried that nerf gun with him a week later.
