Welcome to this latest episode in the LAC's very own Mike Wood Rallying Years, this time Mike looks back at the 1973 Acropolis Rally which was was the 6th round of the inaugural World Rally Championship run in late-May on the punishing hot gravel roads of central Greece. Going full opposite lock in open traffic... I read back then the road stages very often had so unrealistic times set that drivers had to drive on them close special stage tempo just not to get penalties for arriving late.
