- This was so much fun!!! It is one day before practice begins here in Zermatt. I managed to get out to shakedown the bike and see how I felt. What better way to ease in to it than dropping in on a 6km flow trail. Lots of berms, little jumps and just a really nice warm up before the racing starts this weekend.

So fast...I am so accustomed to trails that have random large rocks, roots and quick turns with rocks in the path and tight trees on each side of a narrowing trail that this speed leaves me on edge. Nice video!

And that would be why this trail is called a “flow trail.” (Albeit pretty lame.)
You ride chunk & tech stuff, we get it. But no one’s throwing boulders in the exits of flow trail berms in some attempt to make them technical. If it’s not challenging, you’re going too slow!

Yeah i have rode it and it's awesome, i done 3 runs one on a road bike & one on my hardtail and then when fully memorised the course the final run on my full suspension and each run was packed with such happiness that i will always remember it.
It's a great trail

Seems like it would get pretty boring after a while on my enduro.
Especially since I switched to a coil shock, which absorbs the energy in those berms even more.
@@rolux4853 haha. I just sold my full suspension. It was pretty much brand new. Just wasn't riding it. So just have my hardtail. Be I can do almost everything with it. I run xtr it's so so fast 👊

I'm less than 2mins in, so far I'm thinking, this is cool....would love to ride this trail as it looks possible for a novice like myself! Long, flowy, and fun! I have to also say, I wish we had something like this in Scotland.

This was the first flow trail i ever went on. I have since fallen in love with mountain biking.
Really nice and cool trail, must have been quite a lot of work to make it. Such nice views as well. I would have loved to _run_ _up_ that trail. Now that would be a good and tough warm up :D

Wow! If you suck at cornering on berms, this will definitely fix that. Living in SE Michigan can be so frustrating. It's so difficult to progress in an area that doesn't even have some of the most basic features. 😥

Looks like a blast! Got a trail like that here in Northern California. Flow trail in the Soquel Demonstration Forest. It definitely makes you earn your turns though. There’s a 6 mile climb to the start of the trails. Then you get 4+ miles of DH flow through the redwood forest. But there’s a 4 mile climb back to the car waiting for you at the bottom of the DH 😐

I was gonna mention Soquel Demo, which puts this “flow” to shame. Given the Swiss usual attention to detail & perfection, I’m pretty disappointed.
I didn’t realize just how good we’ve had it until seeing this.

.. Hello everyone today is gonna be EPIC.
I had fun on that trail until I crashed on the last leg and fractured my right shoulder. That was the end of my riding in Zermatt. Hopefully I'll be able to get back there and hit it again. Fun fact, my visit to the doctor in town was cheaper than my two day bike pass. Lol!

The longest trail I've been down is a small hill
Ha ha. Very nice. That might be one trail where I’d prefer an Onyx Vesper rear hub (totally silent) compared to my Industry Nine Hydra (swarm of killer bees) hub.

Daniel May: That’s not good 😜. How old was it? Did he ever service it? If so is it possible who ever serviced it last used an incompatible or contaminated lubricant? I’ve never had an Onyx but they have a very good reputation.

Amazing Video! There is a similar trail in Austria as well, it's called the Teäre Line and it's located in Sölden. You should definetly check that one out as well if you enjoyed the Swiss trail :D

How this trail called? How to find it?
Curious question Mr. Lewis, with a mullet setup using the ziggy link. How does the big perform on the uphill, I know 69er/mullet with out a ziggy link has more geo changes and makes it the worse for uphill. I was just wondering if the ziggy link solves this problem with a slight correction in geometry to accommodate a 27.5 rear. I just want to make sure, if I want to add a ziggy link on my purchase.
