That's a great clear display. I can see this watch being of use to me. Even bleary eyed and without glasses, first thing in the morning - those big hands will be easy to see.
Yes, but you stated in your review that this watch has a 22 mm lug width. So, your commission may get reduced. Otherwise, I enjoyed your review very much and watched it several times. Thank you.
Only if they put a quick release bracelet on the INOX Pro Diver...I had the hardest time changing the bracelet to a strap on that thing. Thanks for the awesome review!!
Just bought this watch and really love it. However there is one thing that puzzles me which you did not address. The days are in both French and English, are both meant to display or is there is a way to select English only... Or French only should I choose?
@@WatchAddictionReviews Yea, problem was changing the day in the evening. Everything is good now and two years later the watch gains one second every two weeks.
Do you have to manually reset the day of week every day in order to remain in English? I just got mine yesterday (in leather-didn’t see your video till today) and it advanced to the foreign language version of the same day, rather than to the English version of the next day.
No, once you set it to English (or French) it will stay in that language. Just don't do it between about 10 PM and 2 AM when the date mechanism is engaged with the movement.
This is a nice everyday watch. I have changed the battery on quite a few of these Swiss Army watches for myself and friends and I've found the movement quality to vary quite a bit. Some are all metal and gold plated with 5-6 jewels while others are just cheap plastic with no jewels. The strange thing is there doesn't seem to be a correlation of price with movement quality. How about a long term review of your 14060 Sub? Mine from 2005 has been great so far. I'm just sorry to see what is currently going on with Rolex sport models. I enjoy your work!
Yes there are many of them in different variations. You can look up for ref. 241854, same dial color but in leather straps and the date is at 6 o’clock.
I'd like to buy a watch from Victorinox and I can already tell that their inventory changes a lot in little time. None of the models I've seen on RUclips videos can be found on their website. They get discontinued too quickly. I don't know if that's a good thing. About ten years ago I bought a couple of watches from Oakley. After five or so years Oakley simply phased out their entire watch line and customers have been left on their own since. Luckily I haven't had to service either watch yet, except change the batteries, which I can do locally. One of the watches came with a rubber bracelet, so I wonder if I'll ever be able to find it on the secondary market should I need to replace it. These are things to consider when shopping for a watch.
@@irispettson The rotation of the bezel is usually specifically for diving, and since this is not a diver's watch, they just use the bezel for clarifying the seconds.
Why not smaller if it's a field watch? What's with this oversized watch obsession nowadays? I don't have a small wrist (~7.5-7.8), but a smaller watch (under 40mm) is always more comfortable and particularly field watches, which are traditionally smaller. Otherwise, the design is almost exactly what I've been after for a while.
It's even worse between the 5 to 20 sec marker. Was the only thing I could focus on during the entire clip. Hoping it was the angle of the camera, because I like the looks of the watch...
@@ProfessorVanNostrand I went and viewed it in person, and it's the same looking at it dead on. if that's something that annoys you, I wouldn't get it.
Only negative is that useless "bezel". Why have it if it does not rotate? Do the user REALLY need to be told what the seconds value is? Why the arrow at the day/date? Do users REALLY need to be pointed to the day/date? Why not just put a THREE THERE! Some silly design decisions!
21mm lugs??? WHY?? Forget about buying straps you like or have😳😢😢stop that victorinox.! I won’t buy your watches until you use standard 20 or 22. Hopefully 20 which is best overall.!!
That's a great clear display. I can see this watch being of use to me. Even bleary eyed and without glasses, first thing in the morning - those big hands will be easy to see.
definitely a super legible watch
i have two of them, love both like my kids.
I just got this watch, and it has a 21 mm lug width. Beautiful watch.
victorinox should pay me! haha

haha, Didnt realize it was 21 :| , hate when they do that
For real? the website says .8” which is 20.3mm. I was hoping for 20mm band replacement. Bummer.
I watched this video a few times as well.👍🏼
Yeah the bracelet is what sold me on my Field Force Chronograph.
great watch
Fantastic watch.
I’ve had owned a quartz Maverick for 3 years and it has been virtually indestructible.
Great review, Man! 🤘🏼
Thanks !
Awesome watch
Wow! great upgrades from victorinox, it's definitely a brand I'm considering to purchase next , thanks for the review .
my pleasure thanks for the kind words
I have this watch. Awsome! Very easy to see and read dial. 👍🏼
for sure , just wish it had a rotating bezel

thanks Franklin!! Really? I had no issue with mine

Choose.
Same issue. How do you choose? Manually, every day?
Once you set the date up on one language, it will stay that way. No you do NOT have to reset it every day!
well said bruceybou
@@WatchAddictionReviews Yea, problem was changing the day in the evening. Everything is good now and two years later the watch gains one second every two weeks.
Just brought the watch and I love it❤
enjoy m8!
20mm lugs??
i didnt like the intro music but I did like the reviewer and narration and video quality.
thanks!!

thanks Mike. Yeah perhaps coming in the future !
Your guide really helped me, thank you.
my pleasure sir
Beautiful watch! Amazing value just wish it was automatic movement
yeah thatd be dope
I agree an automatic movement would be great on this piece and the INOX pro diver.
pls what is ur recomendation blue or black dial which dial is more beatifull
blue
I just orderded this one today!👍🏼
enjoy, victorinox should pay me!
Good looking watch. Thanks for the review.
my pleasure glad you enjoyed
Great video! Would you do a review of the chronograph version?
have to get one first !
Is there a Victorinox Chrono based on this model?
i dont believe so
Yes there are many of them in different variations. You can look up for ref. 241854, same dial color but in leather straps and the date is at 6 o’clock.
Is this the standard silver bracelet? Or is it a gold variant?
This is the standard silver bracelet version , no gold
What's with the English and French settings? You can't just set it to English only on that rotating day disk?
yes you can
Awesome watch I'm going to buy one soon.
nice, its a solid everyday wear
hello
i like it verymuch
Is this your black or blue product?
thanks
blue
Are the numerals white or greenish yellow in color?
greenish
Great combination of colours on the dial. I have the INOX diver on a St.St. bracelet. Present day Victorinox is good quality.
Thanks for the info!
Is it easy to adjust the wrist size of the bracelet?
yes all you need is a $5 hammer and pin set
@@WatchAddictionReviews sorry, can you be more specific?
Its a hammer and a toothpick like metal pin , you hit the hammer on the pin into the link and the screw comes out
@@WatchAddictionReviews Got it! Appreciate!
Love this watch
glad you enjoyed!
que tamaño es su caja??? tamaño en milimetros ??? gracias
que se yo 6.5” pulgadas
Why at the end of the video, minute arrow between marks, while seconds arrow right on 12 mark?
who knows

oakley still exists?
Does the bezel rotate?
no
@@WatchAddictionReviews truly a shame that it doesn't. Do you know the reason why manufacturers seldom allow for that feature?

any idea where I can get this from a AD with a 20% discount?

thanks tony

i hear ya, Hamilton will be a better option probably than, however i must say the bracelet on this watch beats the khaki series bracelets
Now is this safe to bring into a shower if I decide not to take it off?
you will be just fine

That’s the blackest blue I have ever seen.
Your Rolex is WAY to tight brother
thats what she said
It’s a 21 lug width not 22
correct :-)
pls model no
for sure
at 4:23 the second hand gets off. Absolute disqualifier for me :(. It annoys me a lot haha
