Thanks for the reply. We found out how everything works now. The guide seemed kind of vague when it came to heavy raiders. At least a an example would of helped.
Only thing I'm not 100% on, the cards that make you place down a basestar and civilian ships etc... if you happen to draw one of them,.. then on the next turn, draw another, do you place down the additional things so both are in play at once or just re-lay out the board to the new layout?
So me and my buddies have figured out the game. The only thing I am lost on is the heavy raiders. When they move, another is deployed, and how the boarding works and destroying it
I have the Pegasus expansion and it makes the game MUCH better and more even. The original is harder for humans to win. With the expansion I find it around 50/50 win since they tone down what the Cylons can do when they reveal themselves and board the Cylon ship.
I was convinced that the guy on the back right in the black jacket near the light switch was the cylon considering he had an odd grin on his face after the "hold the card up to your face for 10 seconds" at the beginning.
I know this was a million years ago but in the Pegasus expansion, when someone gets airlocked, they aren't booted from the game, their character dies, and if human, a morale is lost. The player then selects a new character to continue play as. If there are no characters left to pick, the humans lose immediately. Anyways, loved watching you guys play, this is my favorite board game I've played to date. Keep up the awesome content!
I am brazilian, so I don´t know if i understand the question :D. But I think that a a gameplay like that is really great!!!.In brazil we still don´t have this game (we have x-wing, and other greate games). So it´s important to us know how this game works, because is much more expensive bring this game than a game that we have here :)
+Fernando Simoni a full play through meaning no edits or cuts. You could watch the game unfold start to finish. It would be a long video but you would be able to see everyone's turn.
***** All good. I know it wasnt said with ill intent. But as a career scientist and lifelong Battlestar fan, you may imagine that it is annoying to be told that what you might enjoy about this game is the ability to sling accusations, simply due to the nature of your body. Just thought you might like to know there are women who like science...and fiction...who exist.
+Lauren Spano We apologize it came across like that, not our intention at all. Jason spoke from the experience he has had with his family and friends playing the game and discussing it after. Obviously not all of them are male and this is a generalization from those discussions boiled down to single summation.
"Jason spoke from the experience he has..." Sure, perhaps no ill intention from Jason, just an unfortunate phrasing. However I saw 4 guys who listen and said nothing. Call each other out if something dosen´t sound right next time. For all your viewers benefit.
This was one of our first "popular" episodes and is a big reason why we continue to play board games on the show. #BSG
I love this after having played this awesome game. Seeing how others play it just expands the experience.

Playing it tomorrow for the first time. Great tutorial vid. Thanks!
+Jeremy Skupien have fun!
Did you enjoy it?

pegasus is TOO easy on humans, really the idea of "distribute damage points" to a ship no one gives a damn is really, really bad.

Same lol
What is the application called you mentioned for the board game that you use?
Is there a 'paper shortage' crisis card? ;P
My favorite game. I own the base game plus the Daybreak expansion.
We should revisit this as it was done many many years ago.

Cool, I'm thinking of getting this, looks like fun. I think this seals it.
where do I know the guy on the left from??
Should cast the whole game next time.
How do you think this compares to Shadows Over Camelot? This game plays much longer than the card game Saboteur doesn't it?
@3:33 "Can we hold onto that?" Found the cylon.
+hammyhamm awesome! We were thinking of doing a full play through of this soon what do you think?
Someone did a full playthrough on New Years Day whilst I napped off a hangover in the next room. Woke up two hours later and they were still going :X
So Say We All!
My god, how can we have 3 negatives? You show how this game works very well!!! Great video! :)
+Fernando Simoni thank you we were thinking of a full game play through what do you think?

"How much is this game?"
"$50- $60 range"
If only we had known...
How replayable Is This game?
Everyone has different roles every time so it’s really up to the players. But it is replay-able.
can you make a new video
+jeff hitchcock hi Jeff. Yes it is on our list for a full play through in 2018.
:D "New Caprica was awesome"
are u still all friends? lol
NEvermind got it
Had me until the end, "For the guys, it has the sci-fi geekiness...for the girls, it has throwing accusations." Facepalm.
+Lauren Spano sorry Lauren.

Lauren Spano Absolutely. Not to mention the fact that BSG has such incredibly powerful female characters, but this is what we get. Sigh.

I could be watching porn right now, but im watching nerds play a board game. I got old.
Take that pesky can off the table, dudes!
I played this game with my friends 3 or 4 times. The humans have NEVER WON. Why is so hard for them to win, I just don't know.
