You can see that most of these djs did not want to touch the records for sound quality. No finger prints on my records!! Then throw them into the crowd lol. I feel better about my scratching after hearing these guys!
That really was a good set for the day, certainly way way better than chad Jacksons which was utterly terrible from start to finish and the fact he won that year is a travesty.
Some of this painful but it was seen as amazing back then. Even a matter a 3 to 5 years later we had flares, crabs etc ...even near the end you can see where todays faders came from ..using the cut switch cause the fader only blends lol now today the mixer pretty much does it all for them. Cue points, efx... Dmc will die in next 4-5 years. That's my prediction anyways ..
@StatetrooperBillyBill using? Digital vinyl? Quantitative patch buttons? Anti skip? Or just two technics turntables, a technics 1200 mixer and raw talent? I've not seen it.. the 2024, but if it's a mass of LEDs and buttons I'll give it a miss all the same.
He was one of the most consistent and cleanest scratcher of the time
CJ Mack...great performance!
He pumped up the volume again 😂
Amazing. Dj legend.
Dope. No other way to say. Today's modern trap fans need to see this - real hiphop.
