Jordy got underscored
Jordy is always underscored. A South African champion doesn’t fit into their agenda.
This was a rare true exhausting battle. This was Kelly finally back in form after too many weird board choices IMO.

I think as a whole we the surfing community think "oh Kelly's just Kelly" he's 45 damn years old and killing it! No one will ever come close to what he has accomplished in our sport.

The bald guy with the sticky stuff on his feet
so if you listen to the way martin potter talks when he's rating kellys opposition he does everything he can to over rate the other guy and without being too obvious under rating kellys performance . its so clear when you hear him do it repeatedly throughout the heats. whats martin potters problem. slater continues to perform maneuvers nobody else can consistently perform while the rest are all still stuck doing the same turns they always do.

Andrew Ratchelous as with most of Kelly's "average" contests. not saying he's overrated at all...but he gets more bonus points than anyone else on tour
Andrew Ratchelous Everyone forgets just how good kelly is and takes it for granted. If you never heard of kelly and watched this heat you'd be thinking "this guys killing it" then if you found out his age, you'd go holy shite.
If you've been surfing less than a decade, only surf your home break, never surfed a contest, own two boards or less never traveled. your comments are null and void.
