Wifey pointed out you're probably seeing the yellow ink lines in the tread. There's a red one on the left and a yellow one on the right. Like I said, they're young tires.
Wifey and I regularly discuss this, and both bikes have a lot to offer. The Streetfighter is a fantastic and refined machine with the factory tune. The MT-10 is a total brute, and even though not as powerful, feels a lot more like the machines from a decade ago. So it really comes down to what you like. The MT-10 is a bargain too.
