The Coromandal Express is one of the flagship carriers of the Indian Railways. Which runs down the east coast of India between Howrah Junction (HWH) in Kolkata and Chennai Central (MAS) on daily basis. It is one of the first earliest Superfast in the history of IR. Most of the people going to Chennai prefer this train as the train arrives early then Howrah Chennai Mail. The train runs jampacked throughout the year.

Last month main Bangalore se Howrah laut rhi thi, YPR HWH Humsafar Express mein. Or Hamari train Krishna Bridge pe ruki hui thi in the night. OMG The scenic beauty was awesome. Mein to dekhta reh gaya. In the night Krishna Bridge or v khub surat ho jti hai. Hamari train lagvag 20 min ruki hui thi. I never forget the moment.
Yes, aapne 💯 % sach kha. Yaha ka nazara amazing ha jiske liye sabd kam padtey ha. Iam also travel New Delhi to Chennai train no 12622 at arrive at night 12.15am .on vijay wada station.

Cannot believe this train met with an accident 2 days ago.. may God give strength to the families of affected people.
This brought my earlier journeys in 80s in Coromandel. That it used to leave at 0800 or 0815. The food was always good. It used to take 6 hours roughly to reach Vijayawada from Chennai and was more or less the same speed with Tamil Nadu Exp which runs between Chennai and Delhi and used to leave at 0700 AM in the morning. Krishna Bridge and Gidhavari Bridges are always very attractive. While travelling in How rah Mail used to enjoy lot of food especially in Vijayawada where several varieties of rice used to be available. Palasa Station used to serve lot of fruits too. Tks for coverage which ignited my old memories.😁

One of my most nostalgic routes. Had been taking Coromandel since 97 and on till 2007 (until air travel became cheap) to visit Kolkata during my summer vacations. Used to get amazed at train going on one direction on day 1 and the other direction on day 2 having reversed at Vishakapatnam (Waltair as we used to call it)

2. From Sullurpeta to Tenali you will see migration birds bet Aug to Feb
3. Penna river in Nellore
Krishna in Vijayawada
Godavari in rajmundry
Small lakes growing of fish prawns
4. Greenary from bza to vskp
Try sonpapdi famous in rjy syn
5.Chilika lake part of bay of Bengal cross at midnight impossible to see
6.Jal muri is good in taste in Orissa and west bengal must and should tryin journey

I had travelled on this train when I was in class 8th. From KUR to MAS.
I remember clearly that in those days it was indeed a daily train. This used to bypass CTC and the four rivers Birupa, Kathjodi, Kuakhai and the mighty Mahanadi. Even it used to skip BAM and Vizianagaram. Always on double power KGP WDM2 twins.

On a different note, Central word no longer has the meaning it used to have as many cities have many important station. Primary point being, the station named Central is the most important station in that city.
Cities without a Central station:, Kolkata, New Delhi, Bangalore, Patna, Bhopal, which technically can deserve one.
