Game Information:
MLB The Show 18 is an upcoming Major League Baseball (MLB) video game in development by SIE San Diego Studio and to be published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It will be the thirteenth entry of the MLB: The Show franchise, and will be released on March 27, 2018, for PlayStation 4. Aaron Judge will be featured as the cover star for the U.S. version, while Marcus Stroman will be on the cover of the Canadian version. A limited amount of people were invited to a closed alpha, which began on December 22, 2017 until December 26, 2017 to test the online servers. Those who pre-ordered the game will receive access 4 days early, able to pick up their copy of the game on March 23, 2018.

It is mind blowing how close this looks to watching an actual baseball game on tv. If you would have shown this video to me when I was a 10 year old my mind would have absolutely been blown to pieces.
yeah man, dont know if 1980 is your birth date but i feel sorry for the newer generations, too high expectations and nothing seems amazing to them , i mean growing up as a 10y old with Crysis, GTA V, Battlefield 1,StarWars and other photorealistic shit
whilst for someone that played fifa 97 and nba 97 and lotus challenge rally III or older crap graphics games these are pretty amazing times to be a gamer

i totally agree , born in 1984, i had my grandpa over the day and he thought it was a real game and he is of the Golden Generation born before 1930 he is my hero and i love the US for helping us during the last WW i`m Norwegian so just wanted you all Americans to know that we never will forget their sacrifice they your (Golden Generation) did so i could live in a democratic system not like USSR
Very impressive. I like how the catcher watches the batter in the corner of the eye to make sure he’s not reading the pitches.

Do they support 1080p 60frames for The show18? I only have The show16 and I think it is only recorded as 720p. Or is there a tool to make this possible? Could someone reply?

Would love to see hopefully in next year gear the elbow guards Stanton wear in the game in the shin guards Marcel Ozuna wear. Also you can wear tape on your fingers like Adam Jones, bring back also the old Nike gloves in old Nike cleats, I see some players still wearing from last year in previous years, also hand in wrist guards as well.
You’d think after 30 years of baseball video games they could make the commentary seem realistic and not robotic. Maybe next year

Love the graphics.....wish the gameplay didn't suck so bad this game could be so much better then it is.
jetshockey5 it could be a great game if most of your choices mattered. But it's all to pre programmed. Most of your games end as shutouts. I played a season and 20 of my first 50 games were shutouts either for me or against me. Most of the animation of amazing plays is the same over and over, and adjusting the sliders to help make the game realistic makes no difference they don't do anything. I turned all the sliders in my favor and the game still ended 1-0. It's horrible. And the rtts just seems repeative with no real purpose to your carreer. They need more off field decisions and interactions, perhaps interviews or making your salary have a real purpose by allowing you to purchase uniforms or home or something worth wanting to choose more money
@@Kartracer6 if your game still ended 1-0 then you just suck at hitting but rather good at pitching and defense. It's totally random for me everytime. Sometimes I win 1-0, 7-4, 10-0, hell I even won 15-13 and sometimes I even lose. And MLB the Show doesn't need to add in more things like transactions that has nothing to do at all with the game of baseball. It will take away from the gameplay. If you not satisfied with the gameplay then maybe you just don't like baseball because MLB the Show gameplay is top notch. I would recommend this game to anyone who wants to play a realistic baseball game. I think your experience is not as enjoyable because your not very good at some aspects of the game.
From what it looks like cheap games with comic graphics like SMB2 do a much better job at actually feeling like baseball.
I play MLB the show 16 still and it's amazing, best baseball franchise, period !
Grayson Overholt You clearly haven’t played fun baseball games. Triple Play and MVP baseball still put this ENTIRE franchise to shame. The only thing The show has to its credit is that it ran 2k off from making anymore cheesy baseball games.

Alpha Male ...i literally bought a PS4 just to play this game. So far I'm kinda not impressed
After playing more, I've gotten used to it and its a 6/10. I like the quick count option on head to head online mode. No challenge option online tho,and not having the batters name on the screen is frustrating.

Man, this game is awesome. I wish I understood the sport at least a little bit to be able to enjoy it. =(

It does. There’s rbi baseball but its trash af. Graphics look like an early 2000s game on the first console no joke. I actually sold my box one to buy ps4 and this game as i only play sports games. Spent a lot of extra $ doing so tho, not proud of that.
