Did you need to fit a new exhaust with the turbo and does this affect the fitting of a long range fuel tank? What was the total cost of the kit including fitting?
Hello! We're building the same jimny. Can I ask a couple of questions? Bosh or denso control unit? In addition to the turbo kit, did you put something extra? Have you changed the map settings and how did you get away from the poor mixture during the turbine overhang?
Low boost 5-7 and a decent intercooler and computer -tuning it would be pretty damn reliable. The 1600cc swift motors pretty much bolt in so turbo the 1600cc one

P.S. A guy in Sth Africa recommended upgrading the brakes do you think this is warranted?

thats absolutely crazy
I do wonder how the reliability is with stock internals as there not really made for power
It's safe to assume that as much you increase the power same much you decrease life length. But still real life test during the years will show.

It wouldn't be stock because you have the snorkel in place. The engine would breathe with a bit of difficulty.
How much did you paid for turbo kit plus labour?
The turbo after 3000 $
Plus about $6k for "new" secondhand engine after turbo destroy the current one...
Of course they dont show you the dyno graph. Most people dont need more power at redline.
