@@imadsocialmedia Doesn't matter coz in possession we have Stonesey precisely to deal with that. The real thing is that bernardo silva is an 8/10 AM and a 6/10 winger while Foden is 9/10 AM but a 8/10 winger so makes logical sense to have Foden on the wing and bernardo in midfield in big games.

Just to end the debate cos ik Saka is gonna be brought up. Saka is undoubtedly a more important player for Arsenal/England and has a level of consistency for the last 3 years that gets underrated massively. Foden is a phenomenal technical player (id argue even better than Saka, is vitally centrally and pops up in big games for City this season.
I don’t need to get into all the stats but statically Saka is better than Foden.
To watch technically I’d probably want to see Foden more, he’s fun on/off the ball.
HOWEVER, to win me a game purely based off longevity I would put Saka over Foden. Not saying Foden is a bad player, he’s phenomenal. Just this is Foden’s first season to shine (understandable as Pep has many options) whereas in a “worser” team for nearly 4 years now, Saka has stood out, and consistently popped up in big moments.
When Saka’s in “bad form” he’s still producing g/a regularly, can’t unfortunately say the same about Foden.
Sorry City fans.
