This years coverage has really been the best. The feel is really good. Also I love the choice of the music. Would love to see more of Stephane Peterhansel andventure. It kinda reminds me of him and Yamaha team doing a raid in Moab, Utah around 1991. Its captured on DukeVideo "Ride Like The Wind DVD". Never was a fan of Peterhansel, but respected him a lot. I believe he is my hero. Wished more riders/drivers could have had as long career at Dakar rally like Danny Laporte, Alessandro De Petri, Franco Picco, Gilles Lalay, Jordi Arcarons, Edi Orioli, Fabrizio Meoni, Marc Morales, Carlos Mas.... Century buggy, thats how the modern Dakar rally cars should look like! Bike race interesting. Love the Botturi comment. The spirit is there! Classic category is so cool, would love to see some bikes from 80's, 90's as well. I just don't understand why so many classic Dakar cars drive loops in Saudi Arabia? This race is perfect for them and makes more sense.
