Oooh, I so love this. Highly reminiscent of my Number One: a mid-'80s Fender Japan Telecaster. Dual humbuckers, active pickups. I think the standard today is to not ship batteries, since there are multiple countries/jurisdictions where there are restrictions ...
They even make active Tele pickups. I put a set of EMG TX into my Player Tele. I have a volume and instead of the tone I put the EMG SPC pot control. So with that rolled off you get all the Tele goodness. When I roll the SPC on it takes them into a humbucker kind of sound. It’s sick.
On the expensive side for an Eart but good instruments overall. Thankyou Thankyou for keeping the digital display out of the picture. Now I can focus on what you say and play 😎
@@Gene_Cali interesting. landon is Canadian. Amazon Canada prices it at $839 plus 15% tax so over $600US. The US price does make it very worthy consideration over the Squier equivalent. .
Whoa dude! Wayne's world Wayne's world! That's the same as Tim's world isn't it?. Very nice guitar, the comfort cuts are a must on all guitars in my opinion. Thanks Landon, for keeping your videos amusing & entertaining while staying informative!
I love my Eart guitars, I just added the TT72 to the stable and it is fantastic! But I'm a little worried that Eart is really trying hard to up their prices, this is $300 or so above the TT72 and the only real differences in features are the active pickups. The TT72 probably took more time to build too as it's a Thinline body.
Pretty Eart TL-281. If you don't have a 9v battery you can use a potato. Well 10 or more potatoes wired in series to get up to 9V, I guess. So yah they will be hanging down and annoying. But still makes it playable.
Reminding me to like and subscribe actualy helps.i cant believe i just said that but ive noticed, for me,its true..im guessing its also true for many others
This seems like a guitar for a younger player maybe just getting going. None of the older Biues/rock players I jam and perform with would consider that slate grey Tele model. But you just poped downto remind me that you can't always tell about these things. I have to say you are right about that. Active electronics and no battery included? Maybe some employee slipped up at the production facility. Or maybe the company said "we sent you a pretty cool guitar, do we have to do everything? Go get your own damn battery!! (I suppose thats highly doubtful.) Play on and have your fun.Adios para hoy!
The headstock is a Suhr style and I would think it's a different factory as Eart puts out a significantly higher quality product than Grote. Eart puts out an unbelievable product for what you pay with some caveats of course.
Yes.,.............yes yes yes...... Dude....when you first started playing that guitar....wow....SICK..... SICK AS SICK CAN BE..... ..... Before the word becomes closer to its original meaning.... Representing some sort of um easy unsettling moment of dis ease or maladie.... which is a negative thing.... I don't really know why we describe good things using opposite words.... Never mind. Good video.... Killer tone.... ..... See there it is again with a negative word describing something that's that's beautiful... English is my first language... But why does it have to be so hard!!! Lol
Let the record show I 'liked' and finally decided to subscribe before you performed your reverse psychology. The intro playing was just far more effective at provoking my investment.

Landon Bailey, This is great! I liked it and subscribed!

I live in a cave, so thanks for that ad for the Masterclass. Wait. I don't even have wifi in the cave, so how am I writing this?
I just got this guitar! Amazon was running a special for 300.00 and it’s absolutely amazing
good deal!
This could be the most metal looking in your collection.
I think so!
Has the same vibe as the Squier Jim Root Tele.
They even make active Tele pickups. I put a set of EMG TX into my Player Tele. I have a volume and instead of the tone I put the EMG SPC pot control. So with that rolled off you get all the Tele goodness. When I roll the SPC on it takes them into a humbucker kind of sound. It’s sick.
The STP t shirt kicks major ass.
That Eart has got my attention 🤓🎸

Eart NkC-1 Tele style was $279. on Launch in 2022. Squire CV is $429.-$450. $300. is an appropriate price for quality affordable guitars.

.
In the states this guitar is on sale on Amazon for $300 with free shipping. I snatched one up already.
Disappointed about the pots & need to loosen neck to get at pickup :/
Nailed the looks!

There’s still 2 left on Amazon for a great price of just $300. I love mine.
Gristletone pups (by Fishman/Fluence) in Teles (son has one) are active-ish....and expensive, and great sounding....

It’s on sale for $300 right now. I got mine at that price. Great deal and super cool guitar.
I loved you in the green mile!

Reminds me of the S by Solar tele, just with Eart's own twist
Thanks for not being a robot. I like it.
Looks great! Is there a texture to the finish or is it more of a satin finish with some metallic paint?
Satin smooth with metallic paint. But it looks like it will feel gritty

Perfect for dropping in a set of active EMGs.

lol when I first read the title I thought "is he referring to the neck or the tone-wood?"
The headstock, tuners, switch and the finish all bear an amazing resemblance to a Grote Strat style I just purchased on Amazon. Same factory?
The headstock is a Suhr style and I would think it's a different factory as Eart puts out a significantly higher quality product than Grote. Eart puts out an unbelievable product for what you pay with some caveats of course.
Oh, qnd you're definitely improving. Tomo would help too. He's a Berkeley master, cheap too.
EMG DOES make active single coils. Kirk Hammett of Metallica had them in a guitar in the late 80s.
I was guessing it was an output jack.
Looks cool, but what’s with the frets? They don’t fully cover the width of the fingerboard?
Size of pots isn't the issue, it's the quality. Pretty sure most high-end pedals have high quality [very] mini pots, as do quality mixers.
Larger diameter pots have a longer sweep which offers a smoother transition. I found that $7 pots are as good as $20 pots... but $3 pots are garbage.
I unliked and unsubscribed just so I could like and subscribe again!
Unclean! 🤣🤘

Lol
The look on your face when you read "Roasted book matched Mahogany". 🤣 Someone at the company clearly copied and pasted that from a different model.
Playing the just by Radiohead in the intro? (Ish I guess)
it was, and most of the playing was Radiohead inspired stuff :)
Badfinger ftw
Passive, I prefer to be hands-off as much as possible
Hey, what's your opinion on Harley Benton guitars, especially Harley Benton Extreme 84 Series cus i am going to buy it soon
my experience has been positive with the models I've played
@@landonbailey okay, thanks! Love your content
The player?
ART for ART Sake 10cc ?
You know if you just removed the bottom line on the E in Eart…
It says Fart folks 😅

How are you? doesn't matter.
Some of you guitar-nerds only care what's written on the headstock... Lame.
Video was going great until you butchered Badfinger...ROFL! Hey, at least I knew what you were trying for with Baby Blue...
Why you trying to be all musical? lol
