One thing that I've been wondering... how do Project M Giga Bowser compare to his SSBM boss character appearance? For those unfamiliar with SSBM Giga Bowser or who never really found an analysis of the character (I wouldn't blame people given Giga Bowser is normally not playable)... SSBM Giga Bowser may be large and have slow movement speed by default but he compensate in enormous, disproportionate ways via having super armor that last him until 50% or so, a perfectly safe f-tilt (he's invincible for most of the move, got huge range, and is fast enough that if it whiff, the foe won't have time to get in attacking range before he can shield/chain another attack), a fast falling speed (meaning he both can't be combo-ed easily like Bowser and has a lot more options for air combat), absolutely insane specials (his up-b in particular make him invincible on the first 26 frames and inflict 49% when performed from the ground, 22% from the air), impossibly huge range (even SSBM Marth has less range than him), and rebalanced attack power to allow for easy combos even on DI-ing opponents (his down-tilt has lower attack power to make both hits land, for example). His down and up smash are particularly lethal (the down-smash having a suck-in effect and freezing the foe if hit with its sweet spot while the up-smash hit like a bullet train). He also has an unique dodge roll, which is much faster and travel much farther than any other character's. On top of that, Giga Bowser has hilarous grab range (about half of Final Destination) and his throws send the foes flying very, very far. Add in the fact that Giga Bowser is the best at edge guarding in the entire game and his up-B's insane recovery distance allowing him to edge guard from both the ledge and the air and one may understand why Giga Bowser is SSBM's boss character. Simply put, SSBM Giga Bowser is an absolute monstrosity. So... how do Project M Giga Bowser compare? Just curious if his Project M version is broken for the same reasons or if he play differently.

As for Project M lacking super armor... my guess is that it's because unlike in SSBB and SSB4, Giga Bowser can be played as a legitimate character, like Omega Tyrant demonstrated (though as he noted, due to a glitch, playable Giga Bowser is forced into being Bowser for the Hands fight).
Pretty much take the significant changes made to Bowser in PM, then apply them to vBrawl Giga Bowser with the infinite super armor removed, and you got PM Giga Bowser.
Yeah, it's a shame Bowser turns back to normal for the Hands fight (as for why I did a thumbnail with the Hands despite Giga Bowser not fighting them, it was to keep the theme I did with the thumbnails of the other Classic videos). With that said, I'm likely going to do some sort of boss battles video with Giga Bowser (I'm thinking of trying to no damage it, but some boss attacks may just be impossible to dodge).
Where did Brawl's Final Destination stage come from for the Master + Crazy Hand fight? I thought Project M entirely deleted that stage and replaced it with Melee's version (it's not even an ASL stage).

Is it related to the fact that bosses/SSE stuff and regular characters are apparently stored on different parts of the disk, so that SSE stuff can't possibly be used in regular matches? blueapple128 Yes, the Hands are still fought on default FD in Boss Battles regardless of replacement. So the Hands' FD is probably technically its own stage separate from the playable FD.

Tl C In Project M, hold R/L on the character select with Bowser chosen as you press start, just like how you play as Zamus in vBrawl. If you want to play as Giga Bowser in vBrawl or another mod, you will have to look up the specific hacks to do it.
