    I once got greened by a duck named Ahmed in a building just because I didn't have Sound. Here's a list of the issues with that:
    1. You do not " short sound " a building ( that's what he said to do ).
    2. I said multiple times I did not have Sound.
    3. I was there before the duck.
    4. Why does he even care if we can't Sound the building? His Trunk sucked!
    The good thing is he ended up greening himself as well. There was a cat with us that didn't have Toon-Up, and I was the only other Toon with Toon-Up. The duck basically greened himself because he couldn't get healed. Even if the cat did have Toon-Up, she probably wouldn't have healed the duck anyway. I like to think that the duck said " Now heal me " and the cat said " I can't ". Ahmed practically shits himself and he's dead.

    I agree about strategy to a certain extent, but one time two toons basically lured me into doing a DA run, then faked me out so that I would go into the battle alone and laughed at me while I got mauled by the Legal Eagles and Skelecogs. They didn't even wait to see whether I had good strategy or not. That experience scarred me for a while, and certainly kept me from training with high laff toons. That's why, when I became a high laffer, I made sure to be patient and courteous to every toon, regardless of laff, though I wouldn't be afraid to call them out on poor strategy. I'm completely against the practice of "greening" - you can tell someone off as much as you want, but deliberately not healing them is going too far into bullying territory for me.

    Here's a story of how I deal with trainers in the VP.
    I just got out of a VP with mostly hollywoods. However, I got paired with a level 2 cold collar who announced "I'm gonna be training lure" while another toon tried to train his weak trap.
    Without greening them, The other toon and I simply forced the two to use sound both rounds. They didn't get greened, but they didn't ruin the run either. They just got pissed off and didn't help during the final round. Where I called them out on it.

    The only reason I'd green someone is if the person had bad strategy. Take this for example, a kid in a CFO with TNT 128 damage didn't tell us his damage, so my friend used a hose ( the cog was a 12 ) so only 158 damage and I just got triggered. I knew he was training, he had bad strategy, and I just didn't want it. No he didn't die cuz another bunny was tooning them up 100+ laffers pretty hard to green. But I would have done it. Just because I want a toon that communicates saying, damage of there gags, or what they are going to us. I hate people who drain the time down to 0 seconds and I end up not choosing because I rather them choose first so I can follow. Reason being I can fix the mistakes or whatever they choose. Row of 11s, wait til the last second to choose someone else got an aoogah or trunk someone else chooses a fog so we either both choose a fog or we both choose a trunk. Now I have a 27 laffer with level 5 throw and level 4 squirt. I have 120 laffer trapless. I wouldn't bring in my 27 laffer unless I was multi tooning with my 120 laffer.

    I do green sometimes. but only if the toontown doesn't belong, or won't listen to strategy. eg, a 16 Laffer jumping on the elevator in a building in ddl, or someone who won't stop throwing out their Banana peels and bike horns, or those people who sound on lured cogs. etc.

      Lol, SBHQ and BBHQ are too easily accessible to toons, DG and DD arent too much harder than TTC, so when they so those level 4s taking a stroll, they think it's safe to go around.

    • @tommeh3197
      @tommeh3197  8 лет назад

      I mean that's what most people do, unless they really believe they can live. The issue with the game is that if someone really wants to green another person, especially in a boss, it really isn't difficult.

    Didn't he defend his friend for stealing a building and blamed it on the people waiting outside, but when someone essentially does the same thing to him it's wrong? I agreed with pretty much everything in this video, and that you were in the right to green them (Even though I'm 100% against it) because 1) They went in your building purposely even though you told them not to, 2) You told them what would be the consequences if they kept going with it, so you gave them a chance. But I do find it a little hypocritical for the stealing buildings situation. Besides from that, I agree with everything you said in the video. 👍🏻 For the low laff toons that are doing wrong things in buildings/VPs, you shouldn't green them, but rather let them learn from their mistakes. Now that I think about it, I feel like greening can be good/bad depending on the situation. Just like shopping, I feel that going into a random group with toons that actually want to VP and leaving them behind is greening, but shopping itself isn't greening if you go with a group that complies with it. And greening a greener I feel is okay, or greening a toon who purposely does things to get in your way (Like the example in this video). Just not low toons who don't know any better, or even people training in VPs, etc. Rather LET them go sad and learn from their own mistakes than purposely making them go sad. Just my opinion.

  • @AdamSmith-gs2dv
    @AdamSmith-gs2dv 8 лет назад +4

    I only green if:
    People train their gags even if asked to stop.
    People sit and do nothing in the boss (ie in the VP they sit way in the
    back the whole time)
    They are EXTREMELY rude (although I'll usually report over green here)

  • @Petarglio
    @Petarglio 8 лет назад

    I don't usually green but when I do it's usually because there's an ungrateful or just outright stupid toon in the VP. I don't support toons that don't deserve it getting carried by higher toons such as myself. Also I HATE people begging to get in a group, especially when their gags are garbage.

    • @Petarglio
      @Petarglio 8 лет назад

      And don't get me wrong, I like helping lower toons and sometimes I make my own groups with just low toons, but if there's a low toon when that's ignoring all advice and screwing up the run, then they don't deserve to get the reward, and them staying alive could cost other toons that are actually doing their job to die.

  • @AvastPirateGirl

    I've greened only twice in TTR. Both sessions were both out of pure anger and both happened almost exactly the same way... I get into a building, hoping to train one of my lower toons, and then at the last second an unwanted toon jumps in. The first time, I was just triggered when he killed my lower toon with his sound on purpose. I was quite happy with that kill. I don't ever green besides that whole building situation.

  • @avaplante1884
    @avaplante1884 8 лет назад +1

    I entirely agree with this video. Although I think if a toon's making life hell in general for the entire team, regardless if they were training or not, it would be a justifiable greening situation. Like I was in this CFO (cog round) the other day with this cat who wasn't following any of the strategies we were trying to do and continuously getting us hit, and everyone else in the battle (including me) was getting extremely pissed at him. (Not to mention he was also a huge asshole, acting as if WE were the bad guys for telling him what to do or whatever.) Finally one of the toons in the battle had enough and just decided to green him. I didn't have a problem with this and let her try to green the cat, if not helping her do so a few times. We would have succeeded as well, if my friend hadn't been a doll and continuously used juggling. I honestly don't know how someone can be that kind, but she was. Meanwhile the cat was being an even BIGGER asshole, continued blaming us, and continued messing up the fight as we still tried to green him. We nearly succeeded 2 or 3 more times; if my friend hadn't tooned, he'd have died. And even my friend said that she thought he *deserved* being greened, but she didn't want to have any part in it, which I can understand. Finally he dced after the cog battle during the cutscene, and the crane round went extremely smoothly. Even though he wasn't training, the team was MUCH better off without him, so I think this is another situation where greening can be seen as justifiable.

    • @P_araps
      @P_araps 8 лет назад

      Yeah, but if someone didn't follow the thing others are doing, they probably did it by accident or they forgot the method. There still is the kind that doesn't follow the method on purpose though. I still agree, though.

    I did this vp about 2 weeks ago i think? i was a 63 laffer with 3 max gags at the time and i was doing this vp and in the first round, this cat was training trap and i told her not to and she didnt use it. i had thought she would have learned but in the skelecog round she uses a banana on a lvl 12 cog and caused one of the smart 50 laffers that actually listened to me and this 100 laffer whereas the stupid cat caused her to go sad, she argued with me that it didnt really matter before the death of the listener and she shut up after the 50 laffer was sent to the playground. ugh, now im a 99 laffer with max gags (toonupless) and i always bring bananas with me in case of trainers because i am done wasting unites and sos cards on them.

  • @elijah2k823
    @elijah2k823 8 лет назад

    So has the Toontown Rewritten Staff suggested what to do when you encounter a trainer? Obviously they don't want you to green the toon. Also I've never had someone attempt to green me, so I am interested in how I would handle that situation. It would be pretty bad for a 111 laffer to get greened, but I wouldn't be surprised if I screw it up somehow. I guess maybe you could like reverse-green them but that's probably also punishable.

    HI, its me Super Bunny ;D anyways You didnt mention much on the greening of higher toons. Ive seen greening in places other than VP. Sometimes its a group of 3 in a mint greening the random

    • @tommeh3197
      @tommeh3197  8 лет назад +1

      Oh, hey there. The reason why I didn't touch upon this is because greening is greening no matter how you see it, and using the example of low toons was much more natural and widespread because they're far more defenseless than high toons are.

  • @johnmatthews8184
    @johnmatthews8184 8 лет назад +1

    I believe greening is the best way to teach toons that they do not belong, as most low toons aren't open up to learning (I try to mentor them through the battle, but they just ignore me and think that all of their decisions are correct). Toons who green for their own entertainment, I don't do it but I can understand how it'd be enjoyable considering Toontown has a fairly interesting fanbase.

  • @greenbunny_9774
    @greenbunny_9774 8 лет назад

    I only green when someone trains and I ask to stop and it's affecting my group. I think it's funny when the toons say "you can't kill me my LAFF is too high", ok that's fine I'll just have you use all your rewards...doesn't matter to me 😂
