Friday : quit work at 12.00 , a quick beer at local pub with workmates , home for lunch , shave & shower , Record spinner video , and then off to beer , burgers & bowling with buddies. Cheers bro ! Ps I only got Tubular bells - Mike Oldfield on picture disc.
I’ve been a KISS Fan since 1975, through thick and thin, I was listening to KISS and Everyone else was talking trash about My Favourite Band. It’s been said before, Love Them or Hate Them, but KISS can’t be that bad after 50 plus years and multiple Gold albums. From a True KISS Fan. Picture discs aren’t my thing. But, Everyone has Their Own tastes, so more power to you. I’ve seen KISS, 30 times in Makeup and no makeup, but to Me, it’s still KISS. We all have our preferences, Mine just happens to be KISS. I Really liked KISS with Eric Carr, double bass drums, great sound quality. I really enjoyed listening to Your videos keep up the great work!
I've been collecting KISS discs and have the four solo, Crazy Nights and Monster. I just recently purchased the Eric Carr "Rockology" ansd even had a fake one made for Vinnie! (no music). Besides KISS, I've been a colloector of pic discs for the last few years. I lost a big collection via a move, so I've been replacing those. I collect a wide variety including The Beatles, Elton John, Queen, Alice and many others. I'm totally envious of that "Rock and Roll Over" disc! BTW, after your KISS studio albums ratings, I went and listened to the whole catalog. Took me two weeks even though I'm retired! LOL
My thoughts on this are make a 500 limited run that are numbered and limit those to 1 per address. Then make as many as are ordered for everyone else and discontinue the run! Just my opinion!
My favorite picture disc that you talked about was the debut album. I try to collect anything associated with it from first pressings to the first single release Nothing to lose promo to bootleg shows and so forth. Could you do a special on this album and any bootlegs and demos. I wonder if KISS will release this in some kind of box set? Thanks
I don't like bootlegs and I don't buy them. I don't like the new 180gr and I don't buy them. The pictures are nice to look at, but I'm not crazy about them. Vinyl records, the real ones, perhaps those from the 70s still in mint condition, or with the small writing of the first owner who owned it 40/50 years ago, that makes me feel good.
