"I AM A CHILD OF GOD"
in my childhood I read the story many times, then forgot till today.. so powerful as a message! single father of only child who is now a young adult mild down syndrome girl... we know what rejection feels like and so the story struck a chord quite loudly and grabbed me...it really really makes me ask God to help us live more like normal families instead of resigning to only hope for good living in the next life (for us it's been like a carriage with a missing wheel)
i like him the he talk, the way he act , his voice is full of love and spirit that cames from our lord and touch to our heart.

We love president Uchtdorf messages. We have heard the story of ugly duckling since our childhood and in this message president Uchtdort tells us the story from a very interesting perspective. We would like to let president Uchdorf know that our family has received his prayer.
This is so inspirational, especially with the world today! I think it's important to remember that what the world wants, is if no consequential value to God.
I almost cried watching this video. I've always been hatin' myself because I look no beautiful. Many opportunities has passed and wasted because of the low self esteem that I have. Up until now, I keep on looking far beyond my worth.
What a great message. Our Heavenly Father sent each of us, his children, down to earth to succeed in becoming like him. Let this be our excuse to avoid temptation, serve others, and keep his commandments, for this is our duty and identity as children of almighty God and I am grateful for this knowledge, which is provided by the standard works and modern prophets.
Fantastic message. The world is full of jerks who would put us down. This type of inspiration can help us see ourselves not as the world sees us, but as God sees us.

I love this message because all LDS children are taught the song "I Am a Child of God" but we never really stop to think about what that really means and how that can impact us if we let it.

After I had watched this video I looked into my mirror and felt truly beautiful and joyful!
God is always there to help you and to keep you in the right path and I speak from expirience when I say that when God looks at us he sees not a average and normal person but a beautiful and humble child.

I love this video so much because it reminds me that i am a daughter of a heavenly Father that loves for who I am and that he made me the way I am for a reason.

They kinda do have a love but the thumbs. It mean if you like it or not so it is semi the same thing!
But this works both ways! Once we understand who WE are, we have to recognize who others are as well. And need to do our best to be kind and patient... the way we want others to be to us! We're all children of the same Father, who loves all of us.
This is a very powerful message that my teen daughter really needed to hear and I feel all of us need to hear at one point or another.

When you really know who you are ... That knowledge changes everything! ... You will never be the same, because that knowledge, awakens the divine potential within you and lifts you up to fulfill the measure of your creation as a child of God.

I love the ugly duckling story. It denigrates an entire group through a contrived and unlikely scenario while teaching that self worth is entirely based on superficial appearance. What an amazing message.
What I like to think is that we are like 20 dollar bills, no matter if we get crumpled up or if we are old we all are the same worth to our Heavenly Father, just like a 20 dollar bill we will get thrown around a get crumpled and stepped on but our Heavenly Father sees a perfect 20 dollar bill no matter what we do
I love this Church. And I LOVE my Jesus. Utchdorf is so wonderful to be an instrument to share this important message.
I love this, it is so true. Only when we see ourselves and others as daughters and sons of God we experience for ourselves the pure, true Christ like love. I pray this for all!
