I feel like you could call this mod, “the Midas touch” because of how often you get insanely rare items and tons of gold, but the common and useful items are insanely rare.
I like to imagine that the mod didn't work in the slightest and this dude is actually just the luckiest living creature on earth.

imagine going into the hallowed underground, killing a single chaos elemental, and instantly getting rod of discord
that happened to me when I was testing out some of the new stuff on xbox in Journey Mode..
Imagine the underground populated exclusively with mimics in hardmode
Chaos Elementals don't spawn lmao, I got to hardmode in my playthrough and my heart was broken, since it was my only chance to get the RoD

I thought about it but... Coin gun would be the greatest weapon to use in this type of luck-based run.
I'm curious if killing a golden ladybug will decrease your luck enough for some normal enemies to start spawning. You should probably try it in case it works.

@juulbes895 The manhunts don't seem to be staged. Too intricate for that. He has openly admitted that they do many attempts and he only actually posts the "good" ones, whether he wins or loses, it's gotta be interesting.
The speedrunning... yeah he definitely cheated. Doesn't mean you should bully him though. Online harassment is generally overblown and not worth it.
@juulbes895 I agree that cheating is very bad, doing on big audience, but I can't see issue with manhunts. Will you stop watching films if I say you that they have the scenario, like Dream's manhunts?

i think that post plantera dungeon would either be the same as pre plantera or it would turn into a military army base with paladins and ninjas
also i suggest u to get that thing that prevents picking up items, it should drop from something at underground desert
the encumbering stone is actually in a desert chest/crate, not a enemy drop, otherwise 10 million of them woulda dropped.

Yeah unless something new came up about it the dream stuff is kinda old at this point, but his fans were going around reddit style brigading to harass anyone who said anything negative about him for a while so a lot of people avoided making dream content just to not deal with them.
Hi, I learned earlier.. The constant crashing is most likely from the wandering trader attempting to appear, if it spends too long calculating its shop (which it definitely will due to the luck mod). Interesting detail

I think the reason that fishing wasn't very lucky is probably because fishing has its own separate luck, which is affected by fishing power and bait power.

Jokes aside, I do actually dislike a lot of heavy RNG mechanics and am generally in favour of just boosting the values by a factor of at least 10 in most games that feature them. In today's world, ain't nobody got time to sit around for 3 hours trying to farm for that one item.

They should make an item “dreams mask” which has a 1 in 13.5 trillion chance to drop from a halloween slime, and when equipped, it gives you max luck

This might be a good one to do again with the new update, with the new enemies and items and how everything stacks. I think this would actually be easier with the new update.
Now do a speedrun with it on, then submit it, then get it verified, then get it deleted because the chances of getting 5 gold portals every once in a while is closely impossible, deny it, after 6 months say that you cheated and say it's an accident.

I can see this mod actually being pretty nice for QOL, bump it to 5 or something low so the game isn't as grindy but still not broken OP.
I think my game secretly installed this mod, somehow I'm constantly getting all the rare items, 100 full ancient armor sets, a single undead miner dropped the full mining set including pickaxe, I got a slime staff from my 2nd slime kill, I got a companion cube, I got every biome key after only killing 3 enemies per biome, got the terraspark boots in prehardmode before the eater of worlds, got every single item for the cell phone in one in game day, etc

I did something similar, and my crashes were only when the traveling merchant was going to appear, I started with luck 15 but have to lower it to 8 or something like that instead (still insane) After that when the traveling merchant appears I had a small freeze instead.
The game was probably crashing because the increased luck was trying to make the game spawn the Travelling Merchant with all his shit.
Man this mod is good case of a Monkeys paw situation, you got exactly what you wanted but look at ALL the problems it causes.
very important question: what would happen when you tried to break a sword shrine? if it only drops terragrim it would be impossible to craft a zenith without fishing for crates… and since luck does not really affect crates it would be hellish lmao…
