Miluji písně Keitha Whitley, ještě žádný zpěvák mě tolik nezaujal svým zpěvem a svým vystoupením jako on. Smutné datum 9,5.1989 kdy opustil tento svět, zanechal nám své krásné písně, které nebudou nikdy zapomenuté ❤
He definitely had the purest voice him and alison krauss are both up there for just str8 up angelic pureness ik i said dudes voice like an angel lol but he was that good
The first time we met Is a favorite memory of mine They say time changes all it pertains to But your memory is stronger than time I guess, everything does change Except what you choose to recall There's a million good daydreams to dream on But baby, you are my favorite memory of all Like the night we made love in the hallway Slept all night long on the floor Like the winter we spent on Lake Shasta alone Closer than ever before And I remember than London vacation It was you, made the whole thing a ball There's a million good times I could dwell on But baby, you are my favorite memory of all The first time we met Is a favorite memory of mine They say time changes all it pertains to But your memory is stronger than time I guess, everything does change Except what you choose to recall There's a million good daydreams to dream on But baby, you are my favorite memory of all
was a huge fan going back all the way to the mid 80's when i first heard him sing. If i could've I would've given my life (such as it is) for keith to have continued on. Somehow it just doesn't seem right that someone so gifted left way too soon and someone with not much of anything but alot of physical pain has linger on. Sure wish I'd had the chance to have met you all back then.
So since he sang "Moanin' the Blues" right before this song in concert, I'm going to guess this was during Keith's J. D. Crowe days, possibly late 1981 when Randy Hayes was playing bass with them. (His name is briefly mentioned in the intro.) I don't believe this was from their Oct. 30, 1981 show at the Birchmere in Alexandria, VA because this song was not on their set list for the the two shows they did there that night. Still, a HUGE treat! And very good quality audio!
MAMsMom97 apparently you are a big Keith fan.... do you have anything that possibly is rare? I feel like I have heard everything I can hear on him... I’m looking for stuff that ain’t on RUclips cause I listen to him every night and am looking for stuff I have never heard him sing. I really like his old stuff when he is singing old country songs so if you have anything you can share or anything please let me know. Thank you.
Really liked Merle,so many good tunes but you are so right, Keith is my favorite singer and my favorite memory, so not fair that he still isn't singing for us!!!
Actually, it's been rumored the record producers made him sing lower to I assume get more of a "sellable" sound. Quite believable, because his voice doesn't sound as different an interviews compared to earlier and later.
Chris Keefe I’m a new RUclips content creator. I was wondering if you might be able to help me with some questions I have about Copyright laws regarding Uploading RUclips videos? I am bent on getting Keith Whitley into the CMHOF. I’d like to be able to put his videos on my Channel, but I don’t want to get strikes by RUclips. I’m not sure how to go about finding Keith’s videos that I won’t have a problem with? I’d greatly appreciate it if you can steer me in the right direction. Please, and thank you very much!🤗🤗

Except what you choose to recall
There's a million good daydreams to dream on
But baby, you are my favorite memory of all
Like the night we made love in the hallway
Slept all night long on the floor
Like the winter we spent on Lake Shasta alone
Closer than ever before
And I remember than London vacation
It was you, made the whole thing a ball
There's a million good times I could dwell on
But baby, you are my favorite memory of all
The first time we met

They say time changes all it pertains to

With both bluegrass and country...NO WORDS, rip Keith.
I know a lot of people are saying this is better than Merle. Keith Whitley is in my top 5 but there will never be another Merle.
Keith was and still is the best to ever sing country. Nobody has that voice range emotion and clarity.
Man he was so good you just can't put your finger on it just how to explain it.
Yes I can.
The Guy Who Rarely Lies please explain.....
couldn't agree more
Soul
What a gem, thanks for posting...
No words, no words!!
Wasn't the 81 show I have,,but was at the Birchmere with Mike Aldridge helping us on dobro..The Crowe days..

The only person to do a Merle impersonation and actually sound better
Not even close
Really liked Merle,so many good tunes but you are so right, Keith is my favorite singer and my favorite memory, so not fair that he still isn't singing for us!!!
A young Keith on this was better than Merle!
Like keith was really good in bluegrass too but did this song better then Merle no way
Actually keith sounded alot better live back when sang bluegrass
This in Minnesota
Do you know where in Minnesota?
Far from where Floyd died... Rip Keith
Merle haggard song !!!!
great version Chris, This is JC Bryant, We are friends on Facebook, I did all the art for the Keith Whitley Fingerprint on country music awards
Mighty Merle
Does anyone have him singing moaning the blues?!?!!!?!
Wow simply amazing. Those Keith Whitley shirts look great any idea if they are still available? Thanks.
Some! Check out the "Keith Whitley Memorial Bike Ride" page on Facebook
Really appreciate that,thank you!
mdmejia67 can't seem to find a good KW shirt these days... Don't know why..
I am still searching for the t-shirts but no luck at all.
mdmejia67 we gotta find somebody to make em.
I can’t believe 3 people actually disliked this
Because it's not his song. It's Merle's. 😂
❣️
it's awesome to hear the way his voice developed over the years.
Sure did change over the years for sure.
Shane Raleigh much higher pitched right here than when he made it big. Cigarettes and age.
Actually, it's been rumored the record producers made him sing lower to I assume get more of a "sellable" sound. Quite believable, because his voice doesn't sound as different an interviews compared to earlier and later.

Actually he was born in 1955.
Hooba Dooba '54..
Really shows how much of a throwback he was. He was doing old timey bluegrass in the late 70s and early 80s
