My dear Mother, (1928-2015 from Kure, Hiroshima) gave me a Hanten which I have worn for 30 years. I love it. It's red colour, beautiful and warm and cosy, and so special because of my Mum. I appreciate it even more, now that I see all the many processes it takes to make one. And so much is done by human hands, hard working people, not just machines. Especially I love the hand sewing. 面白かった、染色工程に興味を持ちました、途中パターンとかカットははんてん関係ないじゃん…って思ったかな。自分で刃を研ぐ優れものに拍手！縫製や綿入れ後の処理ももうちょい知りたかった！パタパタ畳まれる中綿が好き。糸からこだわって作られたはんてん、より愛着が湧きました、これからも愛用していきますよ！
