Dam, I love this guy already. There is nothing that I would rather be doing but creating my own music and mixing. This hits home deeply to the core of who I am, absolutely and totally within me, and I am so thankful for my genes and this gift.

HE KNEW IT ALL...Michael Jackson owed his success to this man....He "was all ears" and good judgement all the time. He must have known that he was in his final days. R.I.P.

He is holding the mic to the side because it is a presentation and video. The mic does not obscure his visage. Yes, there is a humpy room PA feedback. Well, no one knows how to do live sound anymore. It is all pushing buttons. If I was teaching live sound, I would do it on a nasty loud analog rig so people could fix problems at the source gear, then move it into the digital domain, digital mixers with all of the built in processing. Very few people have the collection of talents + interest to be a good sound engineer. It is a rare bunch, very few.

@Full Sail University I discovered Qs early records when I was a kid, and the stuff he, Rod and Bruce did later on has always been my gold standard of music production. They left everyone else in the dust! And I'm still grateful to be learning from these greats. Thank you and much respect!

Yeah right... You actually think he did it on purpose? :D Hahahaha... Do you also record vocals in the studio with the mic pointing the oposite of the singers mouth?

congratulations! RUclips makes it possible for losers like you to leave shitty comments. He's got some age, it's not as easy as you think to hold a mic for 2 hours. The school should have provided a stand or a clip-on mic. Next time you want to comment shit, look at yourself in the mirror.

You are the expert, not ,😂😂😂😂 iff you don't no why he hold the mic that way then you gott a lott to learn about a great sound engianeer, and you are only a dom stupit kid that nows notthing about how you must held the mic at the best way.
Learn men. Till then keep your mouth shutt. That man is the biggest in the history ever.
And you are notthing and tell him how he must hold hiss mic.
Wow you are great, not great, just hate. Stop men. Greetings from a music fan.

    • @ecufile4095
      @ecufile4095 Год назад

      @@HandsUpDK Bruce did all
M Jackson records, he has 450 microfoons, he did bring them all at the studio, with each a diverend sound to record. Thats why he is the best ever. He did record everthing channel 2 times mono, thus real stereo. 24 channels anoloog. And did make a sound blanked for the bass drum, thats why all the producers all said the juise a drum computer, but no everything was analoog. Thats why Thriller, Bad, enz sound so amazing. Why he hold his mic so, because when you talk you gett a plop sound, and Bruce is a expert in al mic's.
Because the mic the get is not the good one to talk clearly, thats why he held him upside down and side way, and the mics in itt sits on the side from the mic, and not on the front.
Read hiss book, and look all hiss video's on youtube. I was 18 when Thriller came out, that sound we never hear ever before, on the vinal LP the sound was incredeble, and i was a DJ from my 12 years old, so i no how it sound. Still today its the best sound ever make on a album.
Did you no that Bruce and Michael did more than 82 take's off Beat It, then the producer Q Jones came insite the recording room, and said are you to have it, and than the said we did 82 takes, and Q Jones said by take 2 yess thats himm perfect than Bruce and Michael and the rest is history.
Michael did sing every song out hiss head, he memorise every song, Bruce said that, and MJ did not juse a paper, everysong what he record came straight out hiss head, Bruce has never a big singer how could do that. He said also MJ was a real nice person, and he nows after all those records the did togheter.
Q Jones was MJ produser, but Bruce was the best audio engaineer, and did all recordings end mixing after the recording.
He did past away im end 2020 after a hip surgery.
Sory for my bad English, Holland where i live. Greetings from a music and Bruce fan.
