I wish I was better at this. I hate my job. It's stressful and exhausting. I pray everyday for something else, but I guess I should just be thankful but man it's hard sometimes

Since returning to my local Church and reading the entire New Testament and now working through the Old Testament, I have discovered that I too have a completely different approach to my work.
I now know God is with me and I always imagine The Lord Jesus Christ is in my trucks passenger seat and standing next to me as I do my deliveries.
Believe me when I say, this has helped guide towards to right way to be every moment of the day, as the Lord is always watching me.
    Amen

Pastor Mike, thank you so much for bringing up a lot of topics that deal with how to be a Christian. I have known a lot of this stuff in the past, but have forgotten it since.
Your message is bringing correction/encouragement, hope and joy to at least one person who very much needs it at this stage in life. And if there's me, there must be others. So again, thank you - you did a lot of good. May the Lord's Spirit guide you in your journey.

In being unemployed and still a bit young, I've been wondering why I haven't been put to work. I have a graduate degree in engineering, a strong resume, and I've been applying around, yet can't get an interview. I realized recently when my cousin began to open up and buckle under weights over which he has no control, I realize that my unemployment not only leaves me open to study and look for work, but to actually do God's work as a minister to my family. We can even go without work as unto the Lord.

I’m 32 and I’ve had 29 jobs. My first was almost 10 years and after I left I just moved around to wherever I felt guided. I have a degree, but I always felt like I’m supposed to be moved around. My family and friends and society view me as “unsettled” or “foolish”, but I’ve always felt like the job itself never mattered. Beautiful confirmation!

    • @yellowpill0

Well (I'm sure you've heard it before) but I think it's a general truth that feelings shouldn't necessarily be our guide. Scripture should be. Scripture ought to be the guiding truth of our lives and that includes our vocation. And though I don't condone those who may have been harsh in their assessment of your situation (that and I don't even know your situation, I don't even know you! I think...) But perhaps there is some truth to what these family and friends are saying. There _can_ be wisdom in finding a job and hunkering down. Granted it seems these people in your life didn't express it in the best way, but nonetheless I don't think they did it just to flat out condemn you.
I dunno, nonetheless this is I would say a matter of conscience and thus I have only the best to wish you my fellow sister in Christ!

3 years since you put up this video, it has blessed me today! I have been very detached and tired of my work and I wanted God to tell me what to do.
Today I just typed in "Christian career advice" and your video was one in the list and I chose it (or God made me choose).
I have benefited from your God given wisdom before and I wasn't disappointed this time either. Yes , I have to do my work like it is a ministry from God and it is true. Come to think of it, Christianity is the only religion that will say that work is also God's ministry.

Hey Mike! I found your channel maybe one year ago. I have been so blessed by your teachings. I see that you have stayed humble and you direct us to follow Jesus instead of yourself. It's great! And I love your enthusiasm to do the research. I have always wanted to see a pastor here in youtube that have a clear theology and have the love that Jesus teaches. God is going to bless so many people trough this channel all over the world. Like me and few of my friends that I have recommended this channel here in FINLAND :D
I think in this time when we have so much stuff available and so much information, that we need clear teachings straight from the bible. And that's why I keep on watching your videos. Keep them coming but don't overburden yourself :) Do everything in peace and clarity like you have been.

Thanks Mike and what an apt time to hear this now. Whatever we do its for God's glory. God sees it all and nothing goes unnoticed. I was thinking of how the Lord reminded the King of what great service Mordecai has offered in the middle of night which ultimately saved his life and took him to a state of great honor in the Book of Esther. We are to do our part earnestly and diligently and God will take care of the rest. Thanks and God bless you

Hi, brother Mike, first of all, I would like to thank you for your videos, I have been helped and strengthened so much by your videos. Recently I have some young believers come to me asking about the "morning star" as a reference to both Satan (Isaiah 14) and Jesus (Revelation 22). How am I suppose to answer them? Do you have a video that talked about that issue or is it possible for you to address that question in a future video? Thank you, brother!

Hi Mike, is the plan still to continue your evidence for the Bible series (archeology, etc.) after your study of Romans is finished?

    • @MikeWinger
      @MikeWinger  6 лет назад +1

I’m not sure exactly what I will do after Romans. The only issue with continuing the evidence series is that my schedule makes that exhaustive research difficult at the moment. I’ll be praying about it.

Mike, I was wondering have you considered that the soul is feminine? A male gender can be a woman preacher, just as much as a woman gender. Our soul is the womb of God. Anytime we Minister out of our mind intellect and emotion, it is the soul speaking. I think it is time we rightly divided between the soul and the spirit. You often mentioned that we should put our mind on, the truth is if we live in the vanity of our mind we are women preachers, whether male gender or female gender.❤

This is something christians for the most part have forgotten. Just ask your church on a sunday "how many of you are in fulle time christian service?" And see just how few hands go up. As Christians we are all in full time christian service!
