Thanks for doing my quiz guys! I tried to do tough but not impossible questions, with a couple of tricks and layups thrown in.
A couple of mistakes people have pointed out:
- Alexa did debut on the date I said, but had her debut match against Becky a little later on August 9th.
- Matt Hardy vs The Ringmaster (Stone Cold) aired on January 15th, not January 8th.
I thought I had been pretty solid in my fact-checking but those ones obviously got past me so I apologise. I will be more stringent when it comes to any future quizzes I may submit.
@alexshuttleworth17 can you guide me to put my quiz in to their mail or something. It will be very helpful to me.

Steve Austin debuted in the WWF as The Ring Master. Managed by Ted DiBiase, clean shaven with a buzz cut. He knew immediately that the gimmick wasn't going to go anywhere so he pitched a cold blooded killer type character and WWF creative at the time gave him a list of ridiculous ice and cold themed names. He talked about that whole thing when he was on Hot Ones.
Some of the pitched names were incredible. Chilly McFreeze.... lol
And I could be mistaken, but I'm sure his wife came up with it in reference to a cup of tea.

Only just starting the video but John guessing Orton on the 1st question when he recently celebrated 20 years made me laugh.

Booker T and Bagwell is considered the worst match because of the crowd reaction, It was during an episode of Raw and they had the ring done up in WCW colors, Lighting, Even changed the entrance around and had spotlights, It was meant to be the launch of WCW as its own brand, It was too soon though and the audience was full of WWF loyalists that just spent years booing WCW, To say the reaction was negative is an understatement, You can't even hear the announcers over the boos in some recordings, Plans for the launch were immediately scrapped and the idea wouldn't be revived until years later with Smackdown
Correction on the wording of question 7: The Matt Hardy vs Steve Austin(then called "The Ringmaster") match actually aired on the January 15, 1996 Raw.
The finn debut was in Pittsburgh and I was there. It was awesome to see him wrestle twice in 1 night.

I have no clue about the Pandemic era, but as soon as I heard 'first appeared on WWE TV more than 17 years before this event' my mind instantly went to the 'Custody of Dominik ladder match. For some reason this whole story line with Eddie claiming to be his father always stuck with me for how absurd I thought it was, even as a child.
This was one of the easiest questions of the quiz, to be honest. I know in 2020 Rey had a feud with Seth that culminated with Rey "losing" his eye and Dominic defending him. Also saw the Rey and Eddie feud years before and Dom was ringside almost every week
That Dominique question tricky. I remember being tricked on a Fabio question where they asked his film debut. I thought early 90’s. but he was a baby in the movie Atlas Against The Cyclops in 1961.

So. The 2019 question with Ricochet. What happened was that raw was losing numbers, so they implemented the wildcard rule, and then brought up Ciampa and Gargano as a tag team, Ricochet, and Aleister Black. Where the latter 2 became a team since DIY got injured

Funny story from me regarding Simon Dean.
As a kid, I thought his fitness videos were legit and thought they were legit commercials during Raw. When I saw him actually show up and wrestle, I thought “huh, the fitness instructor is also a wrestler?! That’s pretty cool”
Didn’t realize until years later that they were just his video packages to get him ready to debut.

Honestly looking back as a wrestler Alberto del rio was underrated he had a good match with cena and that triple threat with punk and cena was rlly good. I think he shouldn’t have been put threw the punk because of how red hot punk was. But he honestly wasn’t a bad wrestler at all. I think as a person though he isn’t for obvious reasons

Yeah Jericho did not like the idea of losing to Fandango because he felt the gimmick was too dumb and wouldn't last long. Jericho is a guy that doesn't mind putting over young talent but yeah that was during the time Fandango's gimmick didn't take off.

I knew the Riott Squad question but i didnt remember all the members. I missed the Ricochet and Dominic question.
Booker v Buff was considered bad because it was a WCW fight in front of RAW fans so no one gave a shit and it just got booed out of the building.
Getting mad at the Dom one felt like a stetch. It seemed pretty obvious, unless you just don't care about Dom at all.

They should’ve made the quiz exclusively with tv (Raw/Smackdown) and not PPV. So there can be trick questions where someone’s first match was on PPV but first tv match is some time later

@@tafua_a Well it's not the Performance Center, it's not ECW, it's not NXT, I'd say it counts. This, Velocity, Metal, and other nonsense, these were shows where lesser known but still main roster talent wrestled.
The main roster is not just Smackdown and Raw.
