I honestly disagree with the M48 being selected, I’d rather say the E50M would be a more solid choice. Sure, less alpha damage and penetration, BUT the frontal armor and sides are far better, the turret is comparable in frontal strength, and you have better mobility.
Either the E50M or the WZ-121.

@@Sahil.Qarayevwell, its a hard tank to play for sure. whe you verse it, its an unstoppable heavy, but when you play it, its a huge target. It isnt the most beginner friendly tank for sure. its for players who have exp in all of the maps so that they know where to hide the lower plate. I have the M6a2e1, and ( it may be just my bias) and I think that tank is a good beginner friendly tank. Just... its a premium, and I managed to get it by pure luck, so people who dont pay any money to the game ( like me ) would have a hard time trying to get it. But that thing has good frontal armor, and if aimed at by enemies, just say no with the turret to keep the turret cheeks safe. Hull armor is good as long as the small plates on the sides are hidden behind something, because they become a weak point. The gun can do about 200~300 damage with ap( main free round) so several shots can kill a tank. its best to stick in a group tho, as almost all the time i went rouge and attacked only by myself, i died, while sticking together can get you at best several kills, more than 10,000 damage, and about 10 medals, including a mastery badge. The tank is a bit tall, so in the open field is a no go. behind a high obstacle ( rocks, other tanks, etc.) is the way to go.

For me, as a 113gft user its still effective on distance, you just have to aim carefully.

The Tier 9 version is good, too, it has identical alpha and pen. And in battles against Tier 8's, it's a god.

@Thomas B - Of course the Tier X is better, but the IX is still a solid tank. It has the highest penetration in its tier, period, and can butter through anything. (413mm of heat with cali) It wasn't painful to grind, it does the job, and you can get really good games out of it. I prefer the Tier X, and only drive the IX for birthday bonuses, but I don't consider it a bad tank at all.
Or just use supercharge for better shell velocity

The E 100 or the 60TP are a better choice for new players because the entire line is much noob friendly compared to wz113's line

@@TyrfingUN nothing wrong . 60tp is a great tank, less forgiving than is7 but great. The tech tree isn't rookie friendly until tier 9 .you need top modules to use them effectively. Well if you are rich or have lots of free XP go for it.
How wargaming thought the wz113 was better for new players than the type 71? the world may never know.
Another thing I'd like to point out is that they didn't cover any of the lines in this video... for example the type 71 line is a lot easier to grind than the 113 line

WZ 113 is not ez to play. Change it to t110e5 or IS 4/7 is better.
And i think e50 is mor friendly to newbie than m48 patton, but patton is ok too.
And i think e100 is very good choice for new players to learn basic penetration mechanics.

113 is very difficult to play with lack of gun depression, also the armour is not going to hold up against premium ammo

For me I think the Maus, Proggeto 65,Minotauro,IS7 and the E100 should be my first tier 10 tanks, as I am experienced I go for more skill based tanks like the Hammer,IS4 and T57 Heavy

While I agree on the characteristics, I think this tank isn't suitable for rookies esp. on grinding this tier.
4. M48 Patton
This is where I agree and understandable, the tech tree grind on this line is good for newbies.
3. Jadgeroo
Another good candidate esp. playing both frontline and backline.
2. Type 71
It should be a top 1 and most recommended by newbies as of this patch today, the tech tree grinding is really good.
1. WZ-113
Same as WZ-113G FT, Good tank but harder tech tree to grind. Another thing is most Chinese tanks are ammo rack magnet which is not recommended for newbies.
Alternative recommendation:
5. HoRi Type 3 - Tech tree is good, balance on everything esp. the speed and armor, you can play both passive and aggressive, you dont even need to use gold too much because this is one of the best penetrations in the game as of now. A good learning as a standard TD play
4. STB 1
While M48 Patton is really good on everything, I think STB deserve the 4th spot. This is where newbies learn some location how to hulldown without being punished. Another thing is decent on anything. Tech tree is tolerable
2. 60TP / Kranvagn
Good introduction for hulldown heavies. Tech tree is newbie friendly.
1. Type 71
No introduction, same as above.
WZ-113G ft tree tanks are actually ok in stock and great in top
Yes good luck to a Noob that has to grind through the Chu Nu, Chi Ri and Sta 1 to get to the STB1

THE E50M
1:41 only the E50M is an easier tank for newbies to master due to its stronger armor and good ramming. The M48 Patton requires more understanding of the game from the terrain of the map and also does not have much armor in the hull.
My top 5: E-50M, Type 71, IS-4, 60tp and the Grille 15 (but it all depends on your play style)

From my point of view, I see that the tank is not the important thing, the player is what matters. I can play with weaker tanks and get great damage and many damages.

For newbies, it's a tank that's easy to grind, simple to play and easy, Wz destroyers and wz heavy tank it's a bit too difficult for a newbie because it's a difficult when grinding at tier 7-9 not for Wz destroyers line but you need grind more exp

Tier X and newcomer in the same place doesn't make too much sense, but, good video, It makes me clear about going for the JgdPanzer E-100, have 6 months playing and am just at Tier VIII.
I like your attitude I've played for about 9 years now pc version and I much rather have good matchmaking then you one surround that 100 everyone starts out a noob and I still have pulled out in front everyone forget to sidescrape fall off the occasional mountain and my world rating is the top 10000 players

What I would recommend: 60tp, t110e5 after dpm buff, type 71, e50M, t-62 A. I do not recommend lights for beginners, but i do recommend grinding the vickers first

Thanks a lot for the video, It really helps newbies to set a goal and aim for a worth Tier X we can try. Japanese Type 71 tank looks promising, I'm used on medium playstyle so I'll give it a shot.

The type 71 will be great for you! 100 it's best when you go med side with any of those tanks from that line. Do yourself a favor though, DO NOT PLAY THE MITSU!!! Use your boosters and save up your free xp to research the junu before trying out the line. You may also find that taking better turning ability over engin accelerator to be satisfying. However playing the mitsu will not be...... at all! Defiantly go for the line or to b3 honest the polish hvy 60tp line is pretty simular as well you'll get a lot more boom from your cannon though and it's just as flexible as the type If you run improved gear oil.
"Hold fire until you have them square in your sights" - also WG, but if ur f2p, regardless of square in sights, we will give u rigged shots which are "track crit", "went right through" and "critical hit" which do zero damage to your enemy, and fool you into believing aiming is "random".
Nice of WG to encourage more noobs to rush to tier. The p2w at t10 were having to play against too many experienced f2p and losing a few games. Shameless WG

Good choice for newbies it's Soviet Union tanks, like IS-7 or IS-4, Nazi Germany E-100, E-50M. What you have showed in the video it's vehicles for experienced players.

Honest opinion, For new comers grind the KV-1 practice with it till you become proficient. The KV-1 features a solid gun, armor(although power crept, still solid) decent gun depression and speed for a heavy. Plus as a player that played nearly 6 years if all my accounts combined, I can confidently say KV-1 taught me everything. Sidescraping, reverse sidescraping, poking ridges and other gimmicks to win games more often.

In my opinion
For our first TD: E4 or 268
Our first Heavy: IS 7, E5 or 60TP
First Medium: E50 M or Progetto
And Lights: I really dk, i think that a novate should avoid the lights but if I ought choose probabily Sheridan or Batchat

I actually kinda think the fv215b 183/ death star is goid for newbies because the line is full of armored tanks so its pretty easier to play for them
Nope, too slow, inflexible, too frustrating, armor is unreliable in tier 8 and 9, and the 183 is so derp that in the hands of a novice is probabily he couldn't quite use it correctly.
I prefer the Jageroo a thousand times as my first option than the 183

Slow, and the armor ain't even that good. The at tanks and tortoise are meant to be used in frontline, but by the time you reach it, the game is already over lmao (sarcasm)
Any tank destroyer and some mediums can pen their front, and most tanks can hit the cupola.
And for the tier 10, the 183, it has a totaly different playstyle compared to the last ones, which can mislead the beginners. It also costs too much money since, the only point in buying it is for the hesh. What's the point of getting it when you only use ap? Use the jagd.
So yah, your opinion is mid. You gotta do some research before misleading people.

Top 5 lines for new players I'd say are T110E5 (Very noob friendly line especially T29) E100 (Also very noob friendly line) T110E3 (Whole line has insane front armor good for new players) Minotauro (Basically T110E3 line with turrets.) and Obj. 140 (As its a very simple line to guide new players through the mechanics of the game.) Hope this helps
Interesting choices. All great tanks! Wz113 is a dpm beast! The new Italian TD minitoro seems like a great choice when released also.
My top 5 (few premiums)
1. TD The Badger. Amazing and after update 9.1 a monster.
2. E-100 , very forgiving
3. Type 71- armor ,lol
4. VK90- use it just peaking turret , usually sideways to give more gun depression. But make sure only turret is poking, then retreat backwards till reloaded.
5. T1003- TD, armor..dpm...penetration..alpha.
Honorable mention
6.wz-121 if you like mediums. Alpha and dpm,turret is armored good.
But that's my opinion. Just don't try lite tanks or lightly armored tanks in general for.beginners. I did it the wrong way and suffered for my ignorance. And most of all. Take your time grinding. Go atleast 50percent on each tier before heading up. I went to tier 10 way to fast. Then dropped back down to 6to8tiers till I got.better and now am getting better. If you rush, you will only harm yourself (win rate) and teams that unfortunately get you on their side. Also if you play mobile. Go to setting and pick just same device mode. Little tip helped me tremendously! Good luck! Millermanhal40 . Look me up if you want help or to platoon.

This list is very bizarre to me seeing the 113 and the Jagd E100 as a new player friendly tank because they just aren't. Here's my list for what it's worth.
1. T110E5
2. IS7
3. E50m
4. Obj 268
5. WZ 121
My reasoning for these tanks is 2 fold. Firstly they are good tanks in there own right and the lines leading up to them are great for new players. Secondly they are extremely versatile and easy to play, ease of use is my point. These 5 tanks aren't complicated or RELY [Type 71 lol] on gimmicky mechanics to work. You can play whatever tank you want however these 5 will help you to learn the game.
u need skill for the IS-7

WZ-113 is not noob friendly at all even if you did buff it a bit.
1: the grind towards it can be a huge pain
2: whit apcr as its first ammo type it has unreliable penrate against heavys like the TYPE 71
3: lots of weakpoints on the turret are getting punished all the time

My First tier x was Progeto 65
Jg e100 is an okay choice and T 71 is great but e100 and i7 lines are much better
WZ-113 despite its amazing stats its a more likely a pro tank and for experienced players mostly , i prefer the E-100 as the best choice for new players since it has great armor good gun slightly better mobility than the MAUS and lot of hitpoints. ( i have both tanks if anyone wondering )

When I saw the Wz-113G FT As the first tank, I almost spit my tea out. The tank is only good when enemies aren't using prammo....May god forbid you showing the side to the 183 or You are gonna get ammoracked or earn a juicy 1500+ hp shot.
And with the WZ-113 you totally made me almost fall off the chair. The tank is not newbie friendly. Even if it Has extreme angled ufp , nice turret, speed and dpm, the tank suffers from low module hitpoints, easy ammoracking chance. Let's not forget the prammo that can Pen the Hull like butter, especially by td's.

@@kvg7518 многое правильно, но только объект 263 требует все же умение играть. Поменяй на что нибудь легче, тот же 268 будет как раз им.
@@isadanjan4762 во-первых это не мой топ. Во-вторых игра на 263 не обязует тебя иметь скилл чтобы на нем тащить, т.к. это дпм машина - просто вкатываешь на одинокого челика и раскатыааешь его на дпме.

I just wouldnt recommended tier X for newbies at all. Its one of if not the hardest tier. I find tier 1 ironically really tough too
